Nowadays, all of the people know the importance and status information for investment decisions making. Thus, the function of the mass media, with emphasis on two main elements of awareness and information play an important role to play speculating on changes in stock prices and investment decision. This subject is less attention by researchers in various countries including Iran. This study attempts to influence the media to examine the investment decision in stock. In this study, the mass media including print media, visual, digital audio and investment decision criteria, participation in the stock and stock options have been adopted. The data for this study were collected through a Likert questionnaire and a sampling of the people who have to go through a week of stock markets of Tehran, Karaj and Qazvin. To test the research hypothesis, correlation and regression are used. The results of this study include descriptive and analytical results indicated a significant relationship between media use and participation by investors in the stock and stock options, respectively. According to the study results, Participation and choice of most stock investors have used the mass media, internet and TV.
