Abstract:

The Ziggurat was built as a place of worship. It has been suggested that the ziggurat was a symbolic representation of the primeval mound upon which the universe was thought to have been created. The ziggurat may have been built as a bridge between heaven and earth. The temples of the Sumerians were believed to be a cosmic axis, a vertical bond between heaven and earth, and the earth and the underworld, and a horizontal bond between the lands. Built on seven levels the ziggurat represented seven heavens and planes of existence, the seven planets and the seven metals associated with them and their corresponding colors. In the pre s ent article, the paradigm that The Seven Beauties (Haft Paykar) of Nezami has been inspired from seven stars of Ziggurat has been discussed.

There flection of the Alast verse in mystic literature is very vast. However, the extent of using this verse varies from a century to another. It was highly used in 7th century. There is a lovely special meaning in the heart of this verse which has given special newness to mystic literature. Abstract:

This research briefly shows the rigid relationship and association between the two doubles or in a better word, the joint uniforms, Tasavvof and pure Islamic Intuition with rosy ethereal Tashayo and also represents their common destinies. Main documentation is made on the “Majalesolmomenin”, a valuable book written by Ghazi Noorollah Shoushtari who is a clergyman and dignitary erudite with having many compilations about mysticism, visionary and practical Intuition. In this book he has shown that Tasavvof and Tashayo have been originally together and have also been under constant and various forms of attacks of cruel and dogmatic governors. Therefore, most of the Shieh mystics or mystic tenet Shieh persons with Soofi beliefs had no way except hiding their pectoral faith, pretending to be similar to the rest of the society and acting the so called “reservation”, for this reason perception of the verity beyond all the aspects and more importantly its proof, if not impossible, is very difficult.
