Abstract: 

Nowadays, because of the competition between banks and financial and credit institutions for attracting more resources, dominating the factors affecting the mobilization of financial resource has become very important. One of the effective elements in the mobilization of money resource in modern banking is attending the desirability of banks and financial and credit institution installations. The settlement place of banks and financial and credit institutions is an important motivation in attracting customers and marketers must consider this very carefully. In this research, the authors present a model for finding new settlement places for bank and financial and credit institution branches. To achieve this purpose, effective criteria and economic factors were recognized using library study, and then were completed by experts’ opinions. Due to the interaction of the criteria in the actual world, DEMATEL technique was used to recognize this relation, and Fuzzy ANP was used after completing the paired comparisons questionnaires by expert’s viewpoints. Then, based on radius of influence, these weights were used for spatial modeling. Also, the Saw method was used for zoning the area. This process was performed in zone 6 of Tehran to recognize the new settlement places of Tat bank new branches, regarding 7 other existing branches in the zone. Based on field observations, results from model were evaluated and Tau - Kendall b coefficient was employed to determine the homogeneity between the results derived from the model and the observed results. The coefficient was calculated 0.855 that indicates a strong relation between the two variables.

Abstract: 

Today, in urban planning, land suitability analysis for urban expansion and identifying suitable land for their physical expansion is important. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify suitable lands for future expansion of Firoozabad city and to put an emphasis on capability of geographic information system (GIS) in presenting optimum physical expansion pattern of this city. The methodology of this research is descriptive – analytical and in order to identify suitable land for physical expansion of the city, the present status of the city and its physical typology has been studied. Then, after collecting required information and using Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) in GIS software and after various stages including entering variables and parameters, providing new information layers, classification and valuation of variables and information layers and composition of the layers, suitable places for future expansion were determined. Considered variables and information layers in determining suitable land for future urban expansion consist of the land capability, elevations, slope, communication networks, faults, slope direction, cemeteries, rivers, historical monuments and rural areas around the city layers. Results of the study show that expansion of Firoozabad city is linear and irregular, and there is an urgent need for locating suitable lands for future expansion of city. Therefore and according to the location, these lands are mainly located in the south, south east and east of the city and these lands have better position than other parts for future expansion of city and otherwise, with the natural and artificial limitations, are not applicable for future urban expansion.

Despite the proper distribution of green spaces in Yasuj, most of these spaces have been allocated to private gardens; so, the public share in the use of neighborhood parks is very low. Some areas in this city do not have any green space, whereas others have more. The method used in this study is descriptive-analytical and data were collected from the comprehensive plan as well as the land use plan. This study provides a suitable model following the optimal distribution of parks and green spaces in each of the urban areas. In order to compensate deficiencies in environmental field, especially in the recreational needs of residents, the value of the land to create green spaces should be evaluated. For this purpose, first, we evaluated green spaces in the existing status. After identifying deficiencies, the relative weighting model was used in site selecting of parks and green spaces. In order to determine the appropriate places, the spatial data were collected and the GIS database was established. For modeling each layer based on their importance in site selection, a weight was assigned. The results of integrating layers prioritized the land for choosing appropriate locations as green spaces. Then, these locations were compared to land use plan and it was determined that wastelands which have government ownership as well as lands that are located near stream are appropriate locations for parks and green spaces inside the city.

Abstract: 

Exhausted texture, i.e. physical and social exhaustion, is the product of the interaction of social processes and geographical space. Therefore, the improvement and renovation of old urban tissue have always been one of the problems and challenges in today’s cities that has made scholars and managers of the various areas try to bring the modernization and improvement. Regarding this issue, various theories and approaches such as reconstruction, improvement, renovation, empowerment, etc. have been proposed and tested in recent decades. In Iran, these issues have been formed scattered and sometimes contradictory with texture features. That is why social and cultural fabric of the building has been ripped off. This is the result of purely functionalist, economical and weak culture-oriented (traditional) view in which the people’s participation is not considered in the intervention to the exhausted fabric. This paper by using description-explanation method, firstly investigates definitions and concepts related to exhausted fabric and intervention ways and next by case study (Zeinabieh quarter of Zanjan city) investigates the necessity for using a combination of functionalism and culture-oriented approach. Methods of data collection in this research are library and survey. In the survey method, by using the sampling Cochran, 100 of the residents are chosen randomly and the questionnaires are filled in by them, after that the data are transferred to SPSS software. Then, the chi-square and t-test statistical analysis were used to perform data analysis and test hypotheses. Findings show that mixed approach with joining functionalist (economy-oriented) and culture-oriented (traditionalist) with the aim of increasing the land value, their productivity and keeping cultural identity and social elements of the exhausted fabric will be the best method for intervention to exhausted fabrics. By using the proposed approach, the benefits of functionalist approach are achieved and advantages of culture-oriented approach are guaranteed.

Abstract: 

A region of 390 square kilometers of Neyshabour was selected for flood zoning. This region is divided into the city and hydrographic networks. This confined area includes three geo-morphological part namely mountain, plain head (along alluvial fans) and lowland. A part of the city is located in Plain geomorphology unit and the other part is laid in the mountains area that covered surface of alluvial fan. The study on the desired area was conducted as follows: The study area is too wide therefore, it is divided into 3 sub-basins; then, the effect of urban development on the basin was estimated through topographic maps, aerial photographs and field visits. The maximum flood event of every basin is calculated by a 100- year return period. The purpose of this calculation is estimating the maximum flood volume which is entered into the urban of the mentioned basins. By providing the required layers for both the city and the basin area of the study, the weight of each layer is determined based on its importance in the occurrence of floods. (Importance of each layer was determined based on the opinions of experts in various organizations of Neyshabour). After the final weighing, the layers were compared with each other and the resultant matrix of these comparisons is used in Idrisi and eventually final coefficients were determined for each layer. Finally, by applying these coefficients through Raster calculator in ArcGis, maps of flood hazard zoning in the basin were determined and the boundaries of Neyshabour were specified separately. Thus, the critical boundaries of urban area against flood were defined and flood damages in the form of the maps of the damage assessment were presented.

Abstract: 

Today, sports tourism is not only the source of health but also profit and income and any country that can provide better conditions of this resource will enjoy from the blessings and benefits of it. The present study tries to identify areas prone to climbing in Parav highlands using morphological characteristics (elevation, slope and aspect). The main foundation of this research and the process of location finding for climbing is morphological characteristics such as topography, slope, aspect, etc. In order to provide the maps needed for the study using topography of 20000 areas, we applied Digital elevation maps (DEM), the triangular elevation model (TIN), slope and aspect. Then, logical terms in relation to climbing were defined. The innovation of the present study is including the factor of aspect and whereby using solar radiation in climbing in autumn, winter and spring due to high altitude and low temperature of highlands, as well as avoiding it in summer because of annoying heat and sun burning. Using latitude, elevation angle and solar radiation Azimuth in all four seasons for the area, the empirical formulas were calculated. The findings indicate that in case of aspect for different seasons in summer all directions are suitable for climbing, except the direction that receives the solar radiation, and suitable zone area for climbing is more than the 90% of the area. However, in winter, more than 80 percent of the area is unsuitable for climbing and its suitable zone is less than 20%. At Equinox, in the morning, only 23 percent of the area is suitable zone, still in the evening only 10% of the area is suitable zone. Eventually the final maps were generated using the weighted overlap method and indicated that the area of suitable zone in case of Azimuth radiation has dramatic difference with the favorable zone, without considering the direction of radiation. This difference includes 15% to 20% of the total area in some seasons.
