To survey the effect of satellite channels on marital satisfaction, a sample of 420 Iranian women in Tehran who were addressed by Jam satellite network and those who were not addressed by it, were chosen and studied in 1392. The main question of this research is: how is the relationship between marital satisfaction and watching the jam satellite network? Also how is the relationship between the mental healths and watching the network satellite? In this paper, in order to present a theoretical model, use and satisfaction and planting theory is used. The method of the research was descriptive - survey and a questionnaire was used to collect data. To show the results, we used the descriptive statistics such as frequency tables, parametric tests (Pearson, Kramer, regression, chi-square and Kendall's tau). The results showed that women who are viewers of the jam satellite network have less marital satisfaction and less favorable mental health than those who are not the viewers of that network, moreover, there were significant relationships among marital satisfaction, mental health and "watching the satellite network Jam". There was a significant relationship between the marital satisfaction and the mental health of women who were studied in this research.
