The purpose of this research is to design the leadership model of line officers in order to reduce desertion and the two disorders of aggression and depression of soldiers. To achieve this goal, mixed (exploratory) research was used. The statistical population of the research includes commanders, rank-and-file officers, and soldiers, 17 of whom were purposefully interviewed in the qualitative section, and 280 people were selected by proportional stratified sampling in the quantitative section. The data were collected using the leadership skills questionnaire, which was prepared based on qualitative findings, and aggression questionnaires by Bass and Perry (1992), Beck's depression (1961) and Ahmadi's desertion (2018). Qualitative data analysis was done with thematic analysis (theme) technique. In order to analyze quantitative data, structural equation model was used. The research shows the leadership model of line officers in four dimensions: leadership attitude (respect and respect for people), leadership behavior (taking time, justice, support and appreciation), leadership traits (appearance, discipline, personality, experience, expertise, verbal skills and intelligence). emotional) and finally the requirements of leadership (understanding individual differences and considering the conditions of each situation) and identified and showed that the attitude, behavior, traits and requirements of leadership significantly reduce desertion and the two disorders of aggression and depression of soldiers in training centers He becomes a soldier.
