Abstract:

Background: : Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurological disorder associated with aging. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of eight weeks of aerobic exercise and the consumption of linalool, cineol and beta bourbonin on the prevention and improvement of the cognitive process of mice with Alzheimer's disease. Methods: 48 C57BL/6 female mice with an average age of 15 months were randomly divided into 8 groups of 6 each. Bioactive compounds including linalool with a concentration of 5.2 mg/kg, cineole with 100 mg/kg, beta bourbonin with a concentration of 72 mg/kg, were administered by gavage, and moderate-intensity aerobic exercise for 8 weeks. Bioinformatics analysis of Bdnf, Ngf and Creb genes were selected and measured by qPCR-Real Time.Findings: The expression of Bdnf, Ngf and Creb increased in the Alzheimer+ bioactive compounds, Alzheimer+ aerobic exercise and Alzheimer+ bioactive compounds + aerobic exercise compared to the Alzheimer group. Aerobic exercises and consumption of bioactive compounds before the induction of Alzheimer's disease enhance Bdnf, Ngf, and Creb, indicating a protective effect in Alzheimer's disease. A synergistic effect was observed in the group of bioactive compounds + aerobic exercise + Alzheimer on the expression of genes compared to other groups.Additionally, the rate of new object recognition in the Alzheimer + bioactive compounds + aerobic exercise group was increased compared to other groups. Conclusion: The decrease in Bdnf, Ngf, and Creb gene expression in the bioactive compounds+aerobic exercise+Alzheimer group was slighter than in other groups, indicating a protective effect on the process of Alzheimer's disease.

Abstract:

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, human society, especially the nurses who care for the COVID-19 patients, in addition to the physical complications of this disease, have also faced its extensive mental devastations. One of the psychosocial consequences of contracting infectious diseases is social stigma. Due to the lack of appropriate tools to investigate the social stigma related to the COVID-19 crisis, this study was conducted with the aim of localization and psychometric analysis of the Persian version of the social stigma questionnaire related to the COVID-19 crisis. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 1400, after back-and-forth translation of the existing social stigma questionnaire in studies at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, face and content validity were measured by 12 members of a panel of experts in the field. To be valid and reliable, the questionnaire was presented to 242 nurses working in selected centers of COVID-19 by multi-stage random sampling. The content and structural validity of the questionnaire were done with confirmatory factor analysis and average CVR, and internal consistency with Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Findings: The content validity index of CVR was calculated as 0.92 and the value of CVI as 0.98. Content and structural validity resulted in Persian version with 12 questions and 3 subscales with a variance of 72.86. Conclusion: This study showed that the Persian and adapted version of the social stigma questionnaire has good validity and reliability and can be used as a valid and reliable tool to measure social stigma among nurses.

Abstract:

Background: The premature rupture of amniotic membrane (PROM) is considered as a cause of 1/3 of premature deliveries and has a reasonable effect on mortality and morbidity of newborns. So, on time and accurate diagnosis of PROM is necessary for keeping the safety of mothers and their fetuses. In this study sensitivity and specificity of Padtan-Pasargad kit in diagnosis of PROM were investigated. Methods: TThis diagnostic study was conducted on 30 pregnant women with premature amniotic sac rupture (case group) and 30 pregnant women without amniotic sac rupture (control group), who were been referred to Isfahan Clinic Hospital. The case and control groups were randomly selected. Vaginal Physical examination, Nitrazin test and Padtan-Pasargad test were performed for all cases.Findings: Based on the physical examination as gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity of Nitrazin test were 76.6 and 83.3% respectively. Sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of Padtan Pasargad test were 83.3, 93.3 and 88.3% respectively. Conclusion: The results of this work showed that Padtan Pasargad vaginal pH &PROM kit have suitable sensitivity and specificity for diagnosing PROM and could be use as a rapid test in women with suspected   premature rupture of amniotic membrane.
