The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between adherence to religious values and the sense of security among the PNU students of Divandarreh city. It is based on the Giddens construction theory.The research method, based on the aim of the study is a descriptive- analytic one, based on measurement techniques, it is a quantitative and in terms of time, it is a cross-sectional study. The statistical population of the study includes 925 who were chosen through probability stratified sampling method. 272 students were selected as the sample size. The collected data were processed using SPSS software in both descriptive and inferential levels. The adherence to religious values (as the independent variable) in five thought, belief, ritual, experimental and outcome dimensions and the sense of security with gender, economical and cultural dimensions were examined based on the Giddens construction theory. The findings of the study show that there is a significant relationship between adherence to religious values and various dimensions of social security sense (gender, intellectual, economic, and cultural security among the students.
