In every country, investment is subject to a set of variables that the investment security is one of the most important of them. In this at1icle, private investment variable in Iran has been estimated to study the effect of security on private investment. In order to estimate the investment risk, the composite risk index has been used, which is annually prepared by the me Institute. The research was conducted for the time span of 1984 - 2005 using the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) Model through Johansen - Joselius Method. The results suggested that investment security could have a significant effect on private investment in Iran, so that a unit of investment risk increase might decrease the private investment for 0.22 billion Rials in average.

In the countries, weather developing or developed, the governments must take proper policies for allocating resources and facilities available in the society to different economic sectors. It is obvious that determining the priority and benefit of each of these different sectors is the first step to reach the aim.The purpose of this study is to investigate the potentiality of Kurdistan -industrial enterprises based on (ISIC code) and statistical base of 1383 to identify the priorities of industrial investment. Considering the fact the job - creating potentiality of this sector, compared with other sectors, is low, it is, therefore, necessary to pay more attention to job- creating industrial enterprises with high profit in the province.In the current study, by means of zonal analysis such as factorial analysis and numerical taxonomy, it is attempted to examine the province industrial enterprises and finally determined the priorities and industrial capabilities of Kurdistan province for investment. This research project is documentary, consists of all industrial workshops with ten workers mostly from Kurdistan based on the ISIC code.The findings of this study reveal that among industries, non-metal industries, cereal and grain industries, plastic industries, textile and store - cutting industries are the most priorities of industrial investment in the Kurdistan province.

According to the 4th development plan, all economic sectors have to provide a part of GDP by TFP during the development plan years. So, based on this, the amount of 39/1% of sector value added has been planned to be provided by TFP in the Mine & Industry sector. Also, it's expected that annual growth rate of TFP be 4/4% in each year.In this paper, we would like to know about impact of TFP growth of this sector in developing objectives. Also to find the capabilities of this sector to increase the sector value added. As other questions in this paper, we want to know that is this sector efficient or not. And finally to analysis the productivity change of mentioned sector. For this reason this paper uses linear programming and nonparametric Tornquist index to discuss about Mine & Industry sector total factor productivity change. The results show that, annual average growth of TFP in industry &mine sector is 0.8% which has large gap with development 4th plan law goals that is predicted 4.4 percent.

Rice is regarded as one of the consumed corns of the human being and the white rice among the corns is a product which has been planted for the man kind exclusively. Just now, Iran is considered as one of the most important importers of this product all over the world. Through this study and using the political tools and the appropriate administrative approaches, we able to streng efficiency of the rice planters and reduce the technical inefficiency to produce the rice so that the local farmers secure a part of the internal demands in this way. On the basis of the data of the agricultural year of 2003-2004 for the different varieties of the rice, the current research has taken an action to estimate the efficiency in the five selected provinces of the Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan, Khouzestan and fars. The results indicate that the technical efficiency (VRS) to plant this product is relatively high and its average is 87%. The production of the varieties of the rice has possessed the identical technical efficiency in three provinces of Khouzestan, Gilan and Kazandaran.Technical efficiency of the rice is different in the provinces of the Fars and Golestan.

It is necessary for great progress of any country in economic development that people invest their surplus income in existing & new industry on that country. So, each investor needs information about the shares in order to achieve the share with the high output and the low risk. These information are either the internal information of company in its financial statement which is reflect in income  statement and balance sheet or extel11al information that is listed in stock exchange.These internal or external factors have impacts on shares output and determine the Price of the stock in the markets. In this paper, book value is internal information and market value is extel11al information. This paper also shows how to choose portfolio of stock based on the book value- to-market value ratio and the return which has been yield from listed companies in Tehran stock exchange market.

This paper investigates the first and second version of asymmetric effects of monetary shocks on output in Iran economy. The literature of this subject in new Keynesian view describes that because of imperfections of good, labor and credit markets, the effect of monetary shocks depend on their size and directions so the positive monetary shocks are neutral while negative monetary shocks are not. FUl1hermore, small and big monetary shocks have different effects on output. Findings of this study using Markov switching and Vector Autoregressive models imply that effect of negative shocks in output growth is greater than positive shocks and the latter can be neutral. Furthermore, according to new Keynesian notion, the results show that small monetary shocks have more effect than big shocks in Iran.
