Context: Holy Quran has brought orders and decrees for the health and prevention of diseases for mankind which obey these rules ensure not only physical health but also mental health. The mighty god in Holy Quran has discouraged humans from drinking wine several times. The purpose of this study is deliberating alcohol effects on human health from the perspective of Holy Quran, and modern medicine.Evidence and Acquisition: In this paper by using proper keywords, an overview was made on Holy Quran, hadiths and scientific articles, available in Medline (Pubmed) and Embase as well as Persian sites such as SID and Magiran. Then effects of alcohol consumption on human health were analyzed.Results: Holy Quran in four verses and infallible imams in several hadiths have prohibited alcohol consumption for humans. On the other hand, it leads to many socioeconomic and mental damages and results in detriments on the Central and Peripheral Nervous System. Cardiovascular System, Liver, Bone, Pancreas, Skin and Respiratory System are such organs and tissues in which bear loads of heavy irreversible injuries from alcohol consumption. Harmful effects of alcohol on fetus and causing different malignancy in several tissues are from other fatal effects which eventually lead to death.Conclusion: Regarding Islam’s recommendations alcohol consumption is clearly forbidden.Scientific papers also express the damaging effects of alcohol on individual health which clearly demonstrates the same concept.

Quran, as a divine guidance message for humans, involves all material and spiritual angels of life. Holy Quran involves all requirements to guide and educate human in social, individual, moral, legal, worldly and hereafter life. Background: In Quran, the great, Surah Baghareh, Verse 255, it is stated: “Who is he aware of everything and the limited knowledge of humankind originates in His unending and unlimited knowledge”. One of these sciences is the science of Pharmaceutical plants. Recognizing these plants plays an important role in the improvement of human society health. Herbal therapy is one of the supplement methods for improving the health rate. In Al-Rahman, verse 11, the significance of plants and fruits is mentioned. One of the mentioned plants is Urtica dioica, which is anti-diabetic.

Background: the aim of this study was to evaluate the association between Quran commands and marital satisfaction in family.Methods and materials: this study is performed with quantitative methods and survey technique by using a questionnaire. The sample size was families living in Marand city. By using Cochran formula and based on systematic randomized sampling, 360 persons were survived.Results: the study results showed that there is a meaningful association between Quran commands and marital satisfaction. It means that the more commitment to Quran commands the more marital satisfaction results. Based on multifactorial regression equation, among all evaluated variables, commitment to Quran commands, individual age and education explain 53 percent of all dependent variable changes.

Background: God quotes and words in Quran verses and infallibles hadiths is under consensus of all believers as recognition, knowledge and understanding source, but changing them to applicable concepts for field investigations is the most important point of the present study.Objectives: the aim of this study is to compare spiritual intelligence and happiness of fasting and non fasting persons.Materials and Methods: it was a causative comparative study; gathered data was analyzed using one way variance and Scheffe post hoc test.Results: spiritual intelligence was higher in fasting group compared to non fasting without any excuse or non fasting with an excuse, also spiritual intelligence was higher in non fasting with an excuse than non fasting without any excuse. Moreover happiness in the fasting group after the Holy Ramadan showed a meaningful difference compared to the first of the month, while happiness of the other two groups showed a meaningful decrease.Conclusion: Islamic fasting with strengthening patience, forgiveness, transcendental consciousness and spiritual experiences is able to increase spiritual intelligence and happiness in fasting persons.
