Purpose: In this research, the main objective was to evaluate Iranina University library OPACs in two categories (including commercial and designed by universities OPACs) in terms of search, display, browsing, and other features (limitations to type of the document). Methods: It was an applied research that has been evaluated OPACs using a check list of features. In this research, sampling was not done and all university OPACs identified in Academic libraries of Iran have been studied. Results: From 121 features identified in the first phase, 52. 06 % was belonged to display category. According to the experts, more than 95% of the features were considered highly important. 23. 14% Features were not available in OPACs of Iranian universities. The situation of commercial OPACs was better than the designed ones. The Pars Azarakhsh OPAC was ranked as the first (1. 5 mean rank and weighed rank) and Mobin soft was ranked as the last. According to the frequency, Simorgh was the second and Payam e Mashregh was the third one but according to the weighed frequency, Payam e Mashregh was the second and Simorgh was the third OPAC in ranking. It can be concluded that Commercial OPACs compare to the designed OPACs had a better position. Originality: Evaluating all of the university library OPACs and comparion of two groups of OPACs has not yet been done in a similar study.

Objective: the purpose of this study is to identify affecting factors on cloud computing adoption of the librarians of UTMS based on Rogers DOI. Methodology: This study carried out using descriptive survey method. all 55 librarians in UTMS were mentioned as participations. Data collection tool was a questionnaire which its validity was confirmed by professionals and scholars. Cronbach's alpha was used to determine the reliability. Multiple regression, Pearson correlation and Exploratory Factor Analysis were used for the data analysis. Findings: Exploratory factor analysis showed 7 important properties of cloud computing: Relative Advantage, Trialability, Complexity, Compatibility, and Observability. Also, two other factors were identified entitled “ Opportunity of evaluation” and “ Lack of need for cloud computing” . There was significant correlation between the rate of adoption and all factors except Observability. Further, the findings of correlation analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the above mentioned 6 properties of cloud computing and adoption rate. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that the properties of “ Trialability” , “ Compatibility” , “ Lack of need for cloud computing” , “ Complexity” , “ Relative Advantage” and “ opportunity of evaluate” , are significant predictors for the adoption of cloud computing, which in total explain 31 percent variance of the dependent variable. The finding of this study confirmed The Rogers’ DOI (2003) in the context of perceived properties of cloud computing, from the librarians of UTMS. Originality: According to the novelty of cloud computing and its benefits for libraries, this study can be open new horizons for libraries and librarians.

Purpose: The purposes of this research was defining the need to an organization or a center for improving and extending university and research libraries, and identifying capabilities and position of Iranian Research Institute for Science and Technology (Irandoc) for accepting possible roles. Methodology: This research was documentary with scoping review in which the scope of research defined with internal and external organizational documents, related researches in NATional Information System (NATIS) and international successful organizations in this field. Findings: Irandoc can play roles in developing standard, establishing experts and professional network, developing information and knowledge sharing process, facilitating access to the scholarly contents, leadership and change management, developing infrastructures for research data management, gathering information and statistics of these libraries & developing interlibrary collaborations in these libraries. Originality: This research is one of the seldom researches related to clarification of an organization’ role and position in NATional Information System (NATIS) in Universities and improving and also extending activities of university and research libraries in Iran.

The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze and synthesize the results of previous research on the factors affecting the intention to share explicit knowledge in academic institutions, which, by combining these results, provides a more accurate representation of these relationships. This research uses a meta-analysis method to investigate the factors affecting the intention to share knowledge in academic institutions. The statistical population of the research, theses and articles of Persian and Latin related to the subject, have been published in the periodicals of 1395-1383 (2016-2003) in reputable databases and scientific journals both inside and outside the country. 15 research titles were selected with appropriate conditions as a statistical sample for entering meta-analysis. In order to calculate the effect size of each of the factors, the stata software has been used. The results of the meta-analysis showed that attitudes, trust, perceived behavioral control, subjective norms, organizational climate, and reciprocal interaction had a significant effect on the intention to share knowledge. But IT support and rewards do not affect the intention to share knowledge.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effect of the effect of science production and extension of the knowledge boundary on resistive economy for no regulation code writing a book for the promotion of rank of the faculty members. Methodology: The sample including faculty, researchers, staff and students of Imam Khomeini international university (science and research branch). It was calculated by using the cochran formula (100). For data analysis, structural equation modeling with LISREL software was used. Findings: Structural equation modeling results indicated that the Science production have a positive and statistically significant effect on resistive economy. Originality: According to studies, this research has been conducted to the first time and has been used as a new topic in this field. It has not been published in any journal previously.

Aim: The present paper is the result of a research which aimed to review the current level of support and training provided for the reference management software by academic libraries. Method: The data was gathered on the basis of a survey of Iranian universities’ websites. Findings: The results reveal that in about 50 percent of Iranian universities, there is no information about RMS at their websites at all. In less than half of the remaining 39 universities, central library is responsible for introducing and training of citations and RMS. Deputy of research and faculty scholarly associations have been other organizers of RMS training. Furthermore, the results show that more than 90 percent of universities perform their training in face to face format only. EndNote is the only citation management software supported approximately by all universities. Teaching other RMS, such as Mendeley or Zotero, has been very limited. Conclusion: Authors suggest that librarians themselves get instruction on using citation management tools to be able to teach library users. Also, there is a need for providing online tutorials on RMSs.

Due to the increasing spread of social networking users, these networks have become a vital part of user life and have important implications for users' scientific, social and cultural backgrounds. The purpose of this research is to determine the difference between students on information literacy and research motivation. Materials and Methods: The statistical population of this study was Shahid Madani University Tabriz during the academic year 2016-2017. Using Cochran's formula, 365 individuals were selected as sample. Sampling was done by stratified sampling method. Data analysis was performed using SPSS20 and LISRAL8. 5 software based on correlation, MANOVA and diagnostic function. Results: According to the research results, the relationship between social networks with information literacy and research motivation was 0. 46 and 0. 36 respectively. In the study of gender difference, the difference in the variable of research motivation was significant. In terms of motivation, three groups were identified as having internal motivation of 5%, external motivation of 0. 3 and impulsivity of 11. 1. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this research, graduates are required to acquire knowledge and information in order to benefit from social networks, which will determine their motivation and motivation to use these networks.
