The souls of the Ahl al-Bayt are united with that of the Holy Quran. Hence, this integration deserves being well appreciated. This is applicable especially in the case of Imam al-Husayn, due to his special status in Islamic history. Drawing on various models of documentation, it has been found out that such a study, with its various sub-branches, can serve as an outstanding offshoot of Quran-oriented research fields.

The Arbaeen walk has long turned into a major Shii religious ceremony and ritual in the world. Based on Emile Durkheim's functionalism, this walk takes shape through joining millions of people from various nations and countries. Discipline and peaceful coexistence are two main features of this great walk. More than merely a simple ritual, the Arbaeen walk manifests international integrity and convergence, with dissemination of major human and religious values.

As a major event in Islamic history, the event of Ashura has always been in focus. The Sunni writer Ibn Taymiyyah (661-728 AH) presented peculiar views of the Ashura episode. He condemned and criticized Imam al-Husayn's movement, declared that Yazid was never in charge of killing Imam al-Husayn, hence ascribed all the crimes to the soldiers of Ubayd Allsh b. Ziyad.

Salat showed the highest manifestation of Imam al-Husayn's servanthood before Allah. Based on a series of library research, various factors have been derived as to the effects of performing salat. They include sincerity, carefulness, performing mid-night supererogatory salat, and performing salats in their prime time, especially on the battleground.

In the present-day world, many religious values are revived under the rubric of modernization. Hence, there may be some deviations in the original mission of such texts. It necessitates taking some measures and precautions against the probable and misleading threats and hazards.

Hz. Zaynab, the sister of Imam al-Husayn, expressed the gist of her attitudes toward the tragic martyrdom of the Imam and his companions. Her harangue in opposition to Yazid proves her steadfadtness and perseverance in that she asserted that she had only realized beauty and that the martyrs' fate was nothing but honorable death. Such remarks are supported by Quranic verses, too.
