This study aimed to investigate the role of the fear of evaluation, in the performance of managers in strategic effectiveness process. In addition the relationship between role breadth and organizational structure with the strategic effectiveness with regard to the role of mediators(fear of evaluation). The data from the expanded form of the Professional Analysis Questionnaire(PMPQ) McCormick, Fear of Assessment, Organizational Structure Questionnaire, Chen and Huang, and Researcher-Made Questionnaire the process of strategic effectiveness, were administered on sixty one managers selected randomly. The results showed significant relation between organizational structure and the role breadth and fear of evaluation is mediate between role breadth and organizational structure with the strategic effectiveness. We suggested based on this result, that we need to considered some situation for release the pressure of evaluation, especially for the people who had a job with high role breadth and formal structure.
