Slogans are symbolic and verbal structure for revolutionary demands. Slogans are considered as a useful and valuable reference in analyzing various revolutionary people. The slogans are important sources for historical research.The present study intends to analyze about how national identity reflected in the revolutionary slogans. The writer of this article used content and lysis method.The subject is very important for Iranians, because Iranian identity changed by revolution. The article analyzed two fronts "self' and "other" with territory and pre-territory indicators. The plenty explained original challenge between self territory and pre- territory in Islamic revolutionary.

In this article the author has tired to survey the sociological aspects of the category of national identity in Iran. This survey has been based upon "constructivism" as a new theoretical trend not only in the sociological studies but also in political and international studies. For this purpose in the first part of article, the theoretical bases of constructivism and its point of view on the identity and collective and constitutive identity has been studied.Then 2 main indicators of Iranian national identity according to constructivism approach have been surveyed. The sense of common and national identity within different ethnic groups, is the first and religious trend is the second main indicators of national identity in Iran that shape the national identity of Iranians and their views on international relations and world affairs. In this article it is manifested that the ethnic and religious trends in Iran do not make necessarily radical approaches in Iranian foreign policy but create a special kind of national Identity in this exceptional state.  

This paper studies the relationship between cultural capital and social identity of youths. The main purpose is to investigate the dimensions of the relationship and to explore such dimensions as the dependent and independent variables of the study. Cultural capital is a key sociological concept, which is of special interest to sociologists. Cultural capital refers to the concentration and/or possession of all different kinds of cultural commodities or tools and of peoples potentials for using such tools. To sociologists, cultural capital can be divided into three groups: internalized cultural capital, objective cultural capital and institutionalized cultural capital.Social identity can be interpreted differently including both similarity and distinction. Distinction Concerns the individual dimension of life whereas similarity relates to the social one. Social identity includes diverse dimensions such as religion, family, nationality, race and culture.The research population in the present study is the students at the university of Kashan in 2006. 350 participants selected from this population through Kocran sampling participated in this study. Data collected from this sample indicated highly significant correlation between cultural capital and social identity (95%).

By Perceiving the importance and position of "identity" in social relation and group - interactions, and with regard to the interdisciplinary position of this concept, this research is purported to identify the place of subject in the dissertations of P.H.D and M.A Students in the universities of megapolis in the form of quantitative-inductive method. Main research question: how many of dissertations of Doctorate and Masters degree of state universities of Tehran were dedicated, directly or M.A degree indirectly, to the issue of identity whether in their title or terms of reference.Method of information gathering: in fulfilling this research the method and technique of content analysis and information gathering some 700 dissertations of eight universities and higher education centers located in Tehran were involved. For better understanding, two conceptual models are employed. In the first model the identity is regarded as a dependent factor related to and affected by different elements and features in both external and internal circumferences; and in the second one the identity is accounted as an independent variable with an extended spectrum of identificational operations and outputs. Extended conceptual employment of the identity culminated in about 40% of dissertations, more - or - less, have the subject of identity in their own agenda. Only six titles were literally dedicated to the concept and one percent had inferred to the concept.

The rise of Mirza Kuchak Khan (The jungle movement) occurred in a chaotic, disastrous and poor condition of the history with the help of the foreigners. During the contemporary history, different viewpoints have been put forward about this movement some take it as a nationalistic movement, Some Islamic, and yet some others, with no clear position, call it fanatic.Although the sources do not give a straightforward hint about the nature of the movement, considering the events having occurred during the movement, interpreting the governing situation, and taking the remaining evidence into account, one can come to an almost clear view of the nature of it. The present paper is an attempt to explain the aims of this movement.

This research includes an interpretive survey about the Turkmen stories in north of Iran. At first the researchers by doing interviews with Turkmen, try to gather ethnic stories. In this case the interviews were the most important methods for data Collection. Then the researchers did the interpretation of the stories by the help of the theory of Clifford Geertz "the interpretation of culture".These fictions interpreted by the discursive frameworks. In this paper superiority to the quality of findings of semiology and signification as the basic creator of the discursive thought has been noted.
