Recent events in Middle East and North Africa which has started since winter of 1389 and continues till now, has led to collapse of three states in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya and caused instabilities in Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Theories and concepts of political science couldn’t predict these events and theorists are mixed up about their nature, causes and consequences. This article tries to analyze events by concepts and theories of political science.

Middle East and Arab world observers and analysts have been confused by rapid and chainlike spread of Arab world revolutions. This article argues that neo-patrimonialism, as Hisham Sharabi says, is the forming factor behind these events. Meanwhile, despite similarities among Arab governments, we see some differences in factors like presence of civil society institutions, global links and communications of regimes, personality of Arab autocrat leaders, intervention or non-intervention of great powers and social formation (tribal or non-tribal) of countries. These differences are among determining factors of state interaction with people and protestors. Authors claim that the less patrimonial and the more democratic state will decrease violent and rough interactions between state and people.

this article tries to explain regime change in Middle East Arab societies, using historical and sociological approach. The question of article is that: which factors or contexts has shaped Islamic awakening in these societies? Author argues that tow sets of internal and external factors caused the event, including: decades of bad governments experience, monopoly of power and wealth, cultural and intellectual developments in Arab nations, peaceful foreign policy toward Israel and Islamic revolution in Iran.

this article explains impacts of Islamic awakening in arab region on new regional order in middle east. According to the hypothesis there are three possible scenarios or prospects for new regional order. These scenarios are revolutionary Islamic order, salafi Islamic order and Ekhvani Islamic order. Salafi narrative of good order is based on balance of power. Ekhvani narrative is like a type of regional great powers concert, and revolutionary narrative seek to make order and security by multilateral collective security management.

this article after reviewing history of Muslim brotherhood movement as an introduction, tries to explain status of this movement in Islamic awakening and its role in the future foreign policy of Egypt. The main question of author is that: what is the status and role of Muslim brotherhood movement in recent upheavals in Egypt? And how this movement could play a positive role in recent awakening developments and even take the office of presidency, despite brutal and heavy strokes by the Mubarak regime?Author, as his main argument, tries to evaluate and estimate foreign policy of Egypt in strategic issues such as Palestine, relations with Israel, relations with USA and relations with Iran.

the main purpose of this article is to develop an Ekhvanist analysis of Qatar foreign policy toward 2011 Arab revolutions. The agency of Qatar, based on Ekhvanist political Islamic discourse, is a complex of pragmatism and Ekhvanism in foreign policy. So, author first tries to illustrate a general picture of Qatar foreign policy based on Ekhvanism in search of a new identity, and then analyses it’s indicators in Qatar pragmatism. At last, he explains status of Ekhvanist political Islamic discourse in Qatar foreign policy toward Arab revolutions.

on Saturday 28th of Isfand 1389, multilateral military operation started in response to internal war and based on UNSC resolution 1973, with partnership of NATO. This operation was in the framework of no fly zone region, and support for non-military people and regions in Libya and at the end led to collapse of Gadhafi regime. Operation of odyssey dawn and global response to events in Libya turned a new season in humanitarian intervention. This article after a historical review of humanitarian intervention and principal of responsibility for support, analyses events of military operation in Libya under the principal of responsibility for support. This operation was the first humanitarian intervention of global community under the principal of responsibility for support.

Israeli politicians, in the early years of formation, argued that revolution and dispute in Arab states is in favor of Israel security. They supposed that democratic Arab states will decrease hostility toward Israel. Despite that supposition, since Arab spring, Israel security is confronting a great challenge. Possible spread of Arab spring to Israel, and also increasing fragility of Israel state, is real threats against Israel.
