Abstract

Recentl y, human development largely depends on the ability of society to create sustainable FOOD SECURITY. Sustainable FOOD SECURITY will be achieved by developing agriculture.This study aimed determining of behavior RANCHERS in GALIKESH TOWNSHIP by sustainable and FOOD SECURITY approaches. The research method was descriptive - correlationa which has done through a survey. The research population was RANCHERS in township (N=2000). Sample size was determine by using Kerjice and Morgan 's (1970) table (n=234). Samples were selected through simple random sampling method. Data was collected through an instrument that developed by researcher. The validity of instrument estimated by a panel of faculty members in Tarbiat Modares University. Data were anal y zed using SPSS software package. Research findings show that there is a significant relation between RANCHERS SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR and numbers of control behavior penetrate, mental norm, knowledge attitude and emotional attitude. Also results of stepwize regration show that 58.9 percent of SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR of RANCHERS in galikesh was determine by five variables consist of notion, penetrate behavior control, mental norm, knowledge attitude and emotional attitude. According to the results we can say, whatever information, skills, individual abilities, opportunities, resources andindividual capabilities to be more, social ideas and people' s valuesanimal husbandry and the herders feel better and we have better mind attitude towards sustainable animal husbandry, so we would see more SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR from him.
