Abstract

In this study, an experiment of 60 days was carried out to evaluate the effect of L-ALANINE amino acids dietary on some blood parameters of PERSIAN STURGEON (Acipenser persicus). To this end, 96 fish (initial mean weight: 23.5 gr) were fed a basal diet with 54% crude protein for a conditioning period of 8 Week. Following conditioning, fish were stocked as groups of 8 in twelve 500 lit fiberglass tanks and fed the basal diet and experimental diets supplemented with 1,2, and 3% L-alanin for a period of 8 weeks. The groups were tested in triplicate. The fish were fed 4 times a day based on 4% of their biomass. At the beginning of the period, blood samples were taken from some of the fish with syringe from caudal peduncle area. At the end, blood samples were collected from 24 fish (2 fish from each tank) in order to determine and analyse the most important parameters of blood such as the amount of packed cell volume (PCV), eosinophils, notrophiles, lymphocytes, monocytes, hemoglobin (Hb), erythrocyte count (RBC), leucocyte count (WBC), mean corpuscle volume (MCV), mean corpuscle hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) and mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH) assessed. Blood haematological indicator with the exception of lymphocytes, monocytes, PCV and MCH showed significant differences among different attendances of L-alanin (P<0.05). The results of this study showed that application of L-ALANINE can affect growth performance and some blood indices in PERSIAN STURGEON.
