Abstract

The purpose of this research ,is identify and prioritize waste (muda) in poushesh, Iran, Spinning and Weaving Co, and seek appropriate solutions to PRODUCTIVITY improvement through the reducing waste.ten waste, as hypotheses were tested (manpower waste, Waiting time, Unnecessary movement, Over processing, Over production, Excess inventory & storage, Organizational problem, process & Environmental waste, Defects & reworks, Unnecessary transport) The results of the study indicated that there are four types of wastes in the organization that The order of priority are: Waiting time, Defects & reworks, manpower waste, Organizational problem.
