THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT INDEX AND GRAIN YIELD OF WHEAT UNDER DROUGHT STRESS CONDITIONS

Abstract

 Measure the relative CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT criteria of reform plans to increase the rate of leaf photosynthesis is considered. 10 WHEAT genotypes under different levels of that pot irrigation index for assessing relationships between CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT and growth performance under DROUGHT STRESS conditions found. A pot of food substance containing nitrogen was sufficient. The pattern of relative CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT decreased under DROUGHT STRESS conditions for different cultivars and genotypes studied them separately categorized in 3 groups. Aging in the second group in a specific timing during grain filling began, and then continued the process more quickly. The group performance under DROUGHT STRESS conditions did not significantly decrease. The relative CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT measured in many stages during grain filling, and a significant positive correlation with yield and its components in different irrigation regimes found.
