Abstract

 In the Islamic period along with using much paper in painting; a kind of painting emerged that commonly known as Miniature. TIMURID MINIATURES with texts have political, social, cultural and historical information. These data are very significant for archaeologists and scholars. With the support of TIMURID rulers, many MANUSCRIPTS were produced and illustrated. TIMURID MANUSCRIPTS includes MINIATURES with topics like architectural spaces, human figures, animals figures, nature and etc. these features help archaeologist or researchers to identify TIMURID artifacts and techniques.In this paper, TIMURID illustrated MANUSCRIPTS are introduced and some of their illustrations were archeologically analyzed. So that importance of these images in the interpretation of ARCHAEOLOGICAL science becomes clear.
