Abstract

In this research utilization of BEECH BARK at two different level of PRESS TIME 5 and 6 min., MAT MOISTURE content 11,13, and 15 percent and combination contents of 0,10,15,and 20 percent (Base of Residues) were considered. Based on the DIN-68763 standard physical and mechanical properties including MOR, MOE, IB, and thickness swelling (after 2 and 24 immersion in water) were tested. Based on the factorial experimental design at completely random test was analysis. The potential utilization of BEECH BARK in particleboard production including: BEECH BARK (15%), PRESS TIME (6 min.) and MAT MOISTURE content (15%) were optimum condition.
