Abstract

The Major purpose of this study was to examine the TECHNICAL SKILLS of CANOLA PRODUCERS in the QAZVIN Province. The total population of the study was all CANOLA PRODUCERS in farming year of 2009-2010 (N=918). Based on the Cochran formula, 130 respondents were selected. The main instrument was questionnaire and its validity was confirmed by faculty members and experts in the QAZVIN Department of Jihad Keshavarzi. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.78 based on the computed alpha cronbach. The results of the study show that the perception of respondents about importance TECHNICAL SKILLS during planting was not very important and during harvesting was important. The regression analysis indicated that extension /education factor explain 74 percent of variance on the TECHNICAL SKILLS of CANOLA PRODUCERS.
