Abstract

A sampleinfested hairs with LICE from foal (10 month's age) was submitted to Department of Parasitology in December 1999. A few of LICE were cleared in 5% KOH solution for final diagnosis. The specimens were cleaned, dehydrated through passing from different alcholic concentrations and mounted of slides. The specimens were examined under steremicroscope and light microscope with 100x and 400x magnification. After examining specimens under microscope, all the specimens were diagonised as BOVICOLA equi.
