Abstract

In this article, a new NON-TOXIC INHIBITORy solution extracted from Camellia Sinensis (green tea) and its efficiency in 0.5 M NaCl are investigated. For this purpose, weight loss methods and polarization dynamics electrochemical methods are used. Also, the evaluation of patina changes in historical samples is performed. For this purpose, optical densitometry on patina, optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) are applied. The results show very good inhibitory property of this solution.
