Abstract

This study presented an analysis of the effects of WHEAT price changes WELFARE in Khorasan Razavi province. For this purpose, a COMPENSATED VARIATION method was used and NET BENEFIT RATIO (NBR) was estimated. The results showed that 45.6 percent of the households are net buyer and 53.5 percent are net seller. While, 3 percent of income is obtained from WHEAT production, the households spent only 0.4 percent of their income for Bread. Therefore, Khorasan Razavi households are net seller and so WHEAT price increases have positive effect on their real income.
