Abstract

To decrease the effect of salinity on crop seed GERMINATION any methods such as use of some nutrient, same as Calcium salt introduced. To investigate the effect of CaCl2 (0, 10 & 20 mM) on GERMINATION index of CORN in salinity condition (0, 3, 6 & 9 ds m-1) a factorial experiment was done in C.R.D. with three replication. Result indicated that CALCIUM CHLORIDE was highly significant effect on Shoot length and shoot dry weight. The effect of NaCl on GERMINATION speed, root length, shoot length, root fresh weight and shoot dry weight was significant.
