Abstract

 Today, one of the most important and expensive industries in the world is space industrument. Manufacturing the SATELLITE is a part of this industry. Because of this reason, analyzing the behavior of SATELLITEs is too important. Not being accessible in the space causes to make the SIMULATORs of SATELLITEs. One of the most important subsystems in the SATELLITE is the power supply subsystem. In this paper, it is tried to design the different part of the power supply subsystem of SATELLITE SIMULATORs such as PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM, battery, ELECTRICAL LOAD. As it is difficult to analyze the behavior of SATELLITEs this SIMULATOR would be usefull in space industries. This SIMULATOR wouldn't have the problem such as preparing the test condition, the cost of providing the different size of batteries and also age reducing batteries by using them. It is available to be expanded to different kind of battery. The battery which has been simulated in this paper is MP 176065 Integration 6.8 Ah LI-ION BATTERY that is made by Saft Company and the photovoltaic panel is a 200 watt panel made by KYOCERA. This SIMULATOR can simulate the max power point tracker and gives the max power to the system.
