Abstract

Experiment was conducted for 8 weeks to determine the reaction Barb fish Barbusschwanenfeldi to feed by different dosage of VITAMIN C. In this study diet containing four level of VITAMIN C (0, 500, 100 and 1500 mg/kg). This experiment was conducted in aquarium tank content 180 liter.15 Barb fish (average weight of 2±0.5) were storage per each tank and feed twice a day. The result showed different levels of vitamin have significant effect on GROWTH parameters (protein efficiency ratio, net protein utilization, weight gain, food conversion ratio, specific GROWTH rate), survival and blood factors (p<0.05). The best GROWTH factor were seen in fishes that fed by 1500mg/kg vitamin in diet. Also the result indicated the highest level of immune factor in blood was in 1500 mg/kg treatment (p<0.05).
