Abstract:

Rue, Ruta graveolens, is a medicinal plant in traditional medicine that has several therapeutic properties such as anti-carcinogenic agent, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, hypotensive, and spasmolytic. This study was carried out to evaluate the antibacterial effects of the etanolic extract of Rue against piscine pathogenic bacteria viz. Lactococcus garvieae and Aeromonas hydrophila isolated in Iranian trout farms in compare with common antibiotics (Erythromycin, Tetracycline, Sulfamethoxazole and Enrofloxacin), using disc diffusion and serial macro dilution methods. The minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) and the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of extract were also determined. The results showed that the etanolic extract of R. graveolens has no inhibitory effect on growth of both gram positive and negative evaluated bacteria which may be related to resistant character of the bacteria, extraction method and/or absence of a particular chemical compound in the extracts of the plant.

This study evaluates the effects of Spirulina (Arthrosphia Maxima) and carrots (Daucus carota) powder on body color changes of 330 Pseudoteropheus zebra with average 15 g initial weight, in 35 days experimental period. As the results showed, the best content of steamed carrot in wet diet was 20 %, and all the factors except background color showed significant differences with control treatment (p<0.05). In both experimental groups, the colorimetric factor showed significant differences with control treatment and the saturation of blue spectrum was more than red spectrum. In conclusion, the spirulina was the better carothenoid pigment.

Abstract:

Due to the importance of fish and aquatic products as the protein sources and quick corruption of them, 15 samples of skipjack tuna (kutsuwonus pelamis) and 15 can of them were gathered to measure the Histamine content of white and dark muscles of them. So firstly the white and dark muscles of fish were separated and the samples were gathered from the cans. This Histamine was measured by Schultz method and Electrophores. The results show that the average Histamine content of dark muscles were 154.3±52.46 mg/g and in white muscles were 124.4±47.05 mg/g, also in cans samples were 160.52±87.59 mg/g (p<0.05). The Histamine content were above of the maximum limits (20 ppm) which announced by FDA.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to evaluate the biochemic combination of Giant sturgeon (Huso huso) juveniles carcass which fed with Gingar (Zingiber officinale) extract. Fish with average initial weight 15±0.8 g fed 0.5% and 1% of Gingar Hydroalcohol extract for 8 weeks. Samples were gathered in the final of experimental period and the fatty acids were determined by Gas chromatography. Results show that there were no significant differences between saturated fatty acids (S SFA) amounts of Gingar treatment and control (p>0.05) but there were significant difference between them in S MUFA content (p<0.05) and the most was observed in the treatment which fed 1 % Gingar. The most amount of PUFA was observed in the treatment which fed 0.5 % Gingar. The most relation of W-3 / W-6 was observed from the 0.5% treatment but with no significant difference with control (p>0.05). The most index of PUFA/SFA was observed in the treatment which fed 0.5% Gingar (p<0.05). In conclusion, the nutrition performance was approved in treatments which fed Gingar, so the dietary Gingar supplement determined beneficent for fatty Acids nutritional value and organic aquaculture of Giant sturgeon and consumes health too.

Abstract:

With the development of fish breeding industry in the country and increasing the number of breeders and buying fish, transmission and maintenance of fish known as one of the related chain to this industry. Preparation of fish, forming oxygen and transport of fish are parameters to be fitted in the survival and growth of fishes and will be affected to short-term holding and transferring. In this study 6 preparatory groups were chosen from extracts of Rosa damascene & Valeriana afficinalis with 3 repeats of control group. In this experiment the number of 420 green terrors (Aequidens rivulatus) exposed to determine patterns of physiological stress responses in the species. The most important response related to increase in 3 equal Cortisol levels (Max 146 ng/ml). After acute displacement, stress had a quickly increase in the levels of Cortisol. Result showed that, like other fishes, the distance and amount of stress have caused physiological response and reducing the amount of these stresses can lead the losses in transmission.

Abstract:

Experiment was conducted for 8 weeks to determine the reaction Barb fish Barbusschwanenfeldi to feed by different dosage of vitamin C. In this study diet containing four level of vitamin C (0, 500, 100 and 1500 mg/kg). This experiment was conducted in aquarium tank content 180 liter.15 Barb fish (average weight of 2±0.5) were storage per each tank and feed twice a day. The result showed different levels of vitamin have significant effect on growth parameters (protein efficiency ratio, net protein utilization, weight gain, food conversion ratio, specific growth rate), survival and blood factors (p<0.05). The best growth factor were seen in fishes that fed by 1500mg/kg vitamin in diet. Also the result indicated the highest level of immune factor in blood was in 1500 mg/kg treatment (p<0.05).

Abstract:

The present study was designed to evaluate blood factors in the Flower horn fishes that were fed with different levels of hydrolyzed cow skin.216 fishes with average weight and length, respectively, 0.95±0.2 (g) and 3.7±0.2 (cm) during the 100-days period of experiment were fed. Results showed that in the treatments fed diets containing 40% hydrolyzed cow skin, number of RBC with mean (2.5±0.33) ×106, percent of Htc (25±1.72) and hemoglobin (8.5±.66) grams per deciliter, was increased compared to controls (p<0.05). The maximum of WBC (18.1±1.82) ×103 was related to diet containing 40% hydrolyzed cow skin too that had non-significant increase compared to the control diet (p>0.05). The highest values of MCV factor with average (1.04±0.32) was related to treatment %100 (p<0.05) and the lowest values of it with average (0.96±0.52) was related to treatment 60% (p<0.05). But in MCH, the highest measured values with average (3.45±0.72), was related to the control diet and the lowest values of it with average (3.36±0.24) was related to treatment 20% (p<0.05). In MCHC factor, the highest measured values with average (35.00 ±3.81), was related to the treatment 20% and the lowest values of it with average (28.39 ±3.78) was related to treatment 60% (p<0.05). So, the best level of cow skin hydrolysis to add to the diet of ornamental fish Flower horn was 40%.

Abstract:

In this study, the lethal concentration of cadmium chloride on common carp (Cyprinus carpio) and Goldfish (Carassius auratus) were measured for computing the amounts of LC50 with the aim to influence the toxicity of cadmium chloride on the strength of these two fish juveniles. After adaptation, 105 common carp with an average weight of 18 grams and length of 12 cm and 105 Goldfish with an average weight of 15 grams and total length of 7 cm were used. After determining range finding test, the LC50 test were done and concentrations of cadmium chloride were determined. Study was at 9 treatments and 3 replications for each species during 96 hours. SPSS software was used to inserts data and probit analyzer was used. Based on the results obtained LC50 of Goldfish (11.2 mg/l) compared with Carp (9.77 mg/l), can be concluded that cadmium chloride is a rarely toxic heavy metal and goldfish is more resistance to the toxin cadmium chloride than common carp.
