Abstract

Karl Heinz Rechinger, during his botanical tours in "Flora Iranica" area has collected 566 type specimens which are kept in "W" Herbarium of Natural History Museum, Vienna. Some isotypes are deposited in following Herbaria: B, BG, BM, E, G, IRAN, K, KUH, LD, M, TAR!, TUR, WU and ZT. The number of types is distributed as follows in Flora Iranica area: Afghanistan 195, Iran 266, Iraq 64, Pakistan 41.
