Abstract

 Project Management Information System (PMIS) is an integrated system purpose is to facilitate information and communication flows between project components and components and to expedite managers' decision-making, they have access to accurate, and up-to-date project information. In spite of common mistakes, in fact the project information systems category is one of the sub-divisions of project information management which is a much broader and deeper topic. The purpose of the present study is to identify dimensions and indicators to evaluate and improve the performance of project management information systems using value engineering and dimension prioritization with the fuzzy hierarchical analysis process approach. The population and statistical sample of study consist of 15 senior managers and experts of Information Technology Municipality of Tehran District 5 who are directly involved in the project. After reviewing were identified the theoretical and background of the study, 9 dimensions and 38 indicators. The results of the fuzzy hierarchical analysis showed that Ranked first order planning and document management dimensions; task validation cycle; budgeting; performance measurement; reporting; baseline consolidation; product management and cost management. second to ninth, respectively.
