Abstract

 The chlorination and its effect as a surface treatment method on friction coefficient and physical properties of rubbery WIPER BLADEs are investigated. The results show that chlorination of the surface of rubbery WIPER BLADEs reduces the friction coefficient. The effect of chlorination time length on controlling the thickness of treated layer and friction coefficient in desired ranges is also studied.
