Abstract

The THEORY OF CONSTRAINTS Along With MRP-Ii And JIT Is Considered To Be A Fairly New Concept In PRODUCTION PLANNING. The Implementation Of This Technique In Scheduling Is Called Drum Buffer Rope Scheduling (Dbrs) Where In A MULTISTAGE Production Planning, The Time Allocated For The I Entire Stages Is Considered To Be The Same As The Bottleneck Resource. In This Paper, We Use The Relationship Between TRANSFER BATCHES And Throughput In A Production System In Order To Develop A New Improved Concept For Dbrs To Result More Throughput In A Given Time Interval.
