Abstract

Due to the fact that TEACHING QUALITY can have positive impact on the quality of higher education in the growth and development of the students, this study was to identify and ranking factors explaning the quality of teaching from the perspective of the faculty members at Khouzestan Ramin Agriculture and Natural Resources University.The statistic population was all the 87 faculity members at this university.Research instrument to collect data was a Resercher made questionair that its validity was verified by members of the agricultural extensionand education department. In order to measure reliability of the questionare, Theta reliability coefficient was calculate (0.82=q), showing a favorable reliability Level.Data were processed by spsswin 17. Result of regression analysis showed that among 6 factors explaining the quality of teaching in teachers: personal and COMMUNICATION SKILLS, TEACHING SKILLS, planning skills were the main components determining the quality of teaching. Calculating espearman correlation coefficient showed a positive and significant relationship between teaching experience, research experience and the quality of instruction. In this study some strategies to improve TEACHING QUALITY are suggested.
