Abstract

 There are some very good articles in the International Journal of Acarology (IJA) and very good books on the systematics of Phytoseiidae, both published by Indira Publishing House. It is interesting that Harold Denmark at the age of 98 is still active and publishing on phytoseiid systematics. I met him on the 35 th anniversary of the IJA in Detroit in 2009. Acarologists of Iran know him from his article co-authored with Dr. H. Daneshvar entitled: “ Phytoseiids of Iran (Acarina: Phytoseiidae)” published in IJA in 1982.
