Abstract

This article fuzzy epistemological and methodological implications in architecture and urbanism, emphasizing the importance of scientific and methodological approaches in the study of architecture and urbanism, contrary to some opinions and comments. This article is an explanatory claims of epistemology underlying architecture is based on the value of zero and a narrative of fact, that this type of tradition of scientific fact, this science is incompatible with reality. Because the nature of science and as a result, the above is also true of multivalued, vague, grading, or to modify the fuzzy nature. Given the nature of the epistemological claim of an article, the evidence is also Shnashanh knowledge. To prove the claim explanatory introduction phase and ontological discourse and its METHODOLOGY is explained. Based on the operating principle concepts of operation of fuzzy membership functions and fuzzy reasoning with an example of the continuity of buildings and public spaces in the city studied. The results show that the nature of research in architecture and urban planning phase with knowledge of the fundamentals of the epistemology binary compatible.
