Abstract

New approaches to design residential complexes are based on comprehensive interdisciplinary patterns in which the coordination of the human and environmental aspects of the designing is more important. In addition, the problems of living in big cities make it inevitable to use aggregate complexes. Paying attention to human and environmental factors contributing to planning and designing can improve the quality of life in residential complexes. High-rised buildings have a relatively short history in our country. So, it has been a short time that many researchers concern about living in residential complexes and culture of habitation in such complexes. The aim of this study is to analyse and discuss about the outputs of theories about habitation culture and theories related to high-rised buildings by using libraries procedure. The results will present several theories about the impact of high-rised buildings on habitation culture.
