Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of ethical environment in relation to job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior of primary school teachers. The research method was correlation and the statistical population included all teachersbusy teaching in elementary school in Bafgh. Using Morgan's table, a sample of 155 people were selected by convenience sampling method and completed the Whittle and Davis Job Satisfaction Questionnaire, Victor & Cullen's ethical environment, and citizenship organizational behavior electronically. The obtained data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient and path analysis. The results showed that there wasa significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and perception of ethical space as well as organizational citizenship behavior of teachers and the structural model of ethical space in relation to job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior hada good fit. Organizational ethics and its training are recommended in order to promote organizational citizenship behaviors and job satisfaction of teachers.
