In current research, it is estimated the cost function of the refah bank along with the production inputs share The purpose of this paper was to estimate the cost function and the inputs share function of the Refah Bank using 1990-2010 data, and to calculate own and cross price elasticities of inputs. The results show that inputs of the Refah Bank are substitutes for each other and the cross elasticity of physical capital and manpower exceeds that of manpower and physical capital. The results also reveal that Refah Bank enjoys increasing return in expanding its activities.

Evaluation of performance and productivity is among the fundamental concepts in management. In order to achieve their goals, organizations must evaluate their performance. One of the important stages of performance appraisal is evaluation of organization’s efficiency. Banks, financial and credit institutions are among the most important organizations of every economic system, because every activity which entails asset acquisition and financial resources undoubtedly requires mediation of banks and financial organizations. One of the most vital issues in banks’ efficiency evaluation is identification of input and output variables. Identification of these variables helps to create an appropriate model in order to evaluate the efficiency. The purpose of this paper is clarifying of the importance of the input and output in Islamic banking with the use of the content analysis method. In this paper various approaches that were selected by researchers are reviewed and classified. Then the input and output variables in the Islamic banking is analyzed. The result show that the intermediation approach is the acceptable approach among scholars furthermore, labors and deposits are best inputs while, loans and investment are best outputs.

Exchange rate is one of the important factors which affect the prices of imported inputs like poultry husbandry inputs prices. This study develops a system of empirical models that analysis the exchange rate and the LOP effects on poultry husbandry inputs prices (maze, soybeans, barley and fish powder). To achieve the aims of study, we used vector autoregressive (VAR) model in seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) framework over the period 1381: m1– 1391m12. Dichey-Fuller unit root test suggested that all of the variables support the presence of unit root but the presence unit roots can be rejected in the first difference model. The results revealed that, in general, real exchange rate only affects the prices of soybeans and fish powder. 1% depreciation of the domestic money raises the prices of soybean and fish powder by 8% and 23% respectively, at the same month. Also, results imply no exchange rate pass-through and invalidity of the LOP. According to the results, preventing from intensive increase in exchange rate and its volatility are very important steps on stability of poultry husbandry subsector’ s input prices.

In the present study, using a non-radial Multi-directional Efficiency Analysis (MEA) approach, the productivity changes in potato production were investigated in East Azerbaijan province. The information was collected from published data by the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad included the 16 major potato producing provinces. The results showed the inputs productivity in East Azerbaijan province decreased significantly in all inputs in the 2011-2012 crop year compared to the 2010-2011 crop year. Regarding to efficiency change and technical change, the best situation was for potash fertilizer and seed, respectively. DEA results also confirmed the MEA outputs, so that DEA also showed a negative change in total factor productivity by 86. 3% in potato cultivation in the East Azerbaijan province. According to the research findings, with the continuation of the observed trend over the coming years, potato cultivation in the East Azerbaijan province is at risk and it is necessary, simultaneously with management efforts, the changes in the productivity of productive inputs are being measured.

This paper proposes an alternative approach for efficiency analysis when a set of DMUs uses interval scale variables in the productive process. To test the influence of these variables, we present a general approach of deriving DEA models to deal with the variables. We investigate a number of performance measures with unrestricted-in-sign interval and/or interval scale variables.
