Abstract:

Dynamic analysis is a prominent approach in analyzing the behavior of Android apps. To perform dynamic analysis, we need an event generator to provide proper environment for executing the app in an emulator. Monkey is the most popular event generator for Android apps in general, and is used in dynamic analysis of Android malware as well. Monkey provides high code coverage and yet high speed in generating events. However, in the case of malware analysis, Monkey su ers from several limitations. It only considers UI events but no system events, and because of random behavior in generating UI events, it may lose dropping the connectivity of the test environment during the analysis process. Moreover, it provides no defense against malware evasion techniques. In this paper, we try to enhance Monkey by reducing its limitations while preserving its advantages. The proposed approach has been implemented as an extended version of Monkey, named Curious-Monkey. Curious-Monkey provides facilities for handling system events, handling evasion techniques, and keeping the test environment's connectivity up during the analysis process. We conducted many experiments to evaluate the e ectiveness of the proposed tool regarding two important criteria in dynamic malware analysis: the ability to trigger malicious payloads and the code coverage. In the evaluation process, we used the Evadroid benchmark and the AMD malware data-set. Moreover, we compared Curious-Monkey with Monkey and Ares tools. The results show that the Curious-Monkey provides better results in case of triggering malicious payloads, as well as better code coverage.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: CURRENTLY, CELLULAR TRANSPLANTATION FOR SPINAL CORD INJURIES (SCI) IS THE SUBJECT OF NUMEROUS PRECLINICAL STUDIES. AMONG THE MANY CELL TYPES IN THE ADULT BRAIN, THERE IS A UNIQUE SUBPOPULATION OF NEURAL STEM CELLS (NSC) THAT CAN SELF-RENEW AND DIFFERENTIATE INTO NEURONS. THE STUDY AIMS, THEREFORE, TO EXPLORE THE EFFICACY OF ADULT Monkey NSC (MNSC) IN A PRIMATE SCI MODEL. ...

Abstract:

The current Monkeypox outbreak reawakens the concern that poxviridae have a high potential for zoonotic spillover and causing a pandemic. Much fieldwork and research have been done by health care and public health workers in Africa during previous human outbreaks, and their knowledge should inform our global response to the current outbreak. However, unusual clinical presentations now have potential implications for recognizing the disease. In addition, infections from poxviridae, such as Monkeypox, have common cutaneous signs that occur early, may be related to periods of transmissibility, and can leave scarring. Therefore, dermatologists will play a key role in recognizing and diagnosing infections and educating and preparing frontline health care workers for the early detection of new cases and clusters of Monkeypox.

Abstract:

In August 2003 about 64 individuals African green Monkeys (Cereopithicus aetiopes) were imported from Tanzania to Razi Institute of Iran. They were fed daily with fruits, vegetables and water was offered ad libitum. Each animal was in a separate metal cage. Daily cleaned waste materials on a regular basis. A 2.5 Kg African young male 5 days after its importation showed depression, no appetite, and pain feeling at abdominal palpation. This Monkey dead with weekness and emaciation 10 days after arrival. At necropsy numerous whitish encapsulated nymph of Armillifer armillatus were found in or on the mesenteries of pritoneal cavity. Although this case is from imported animals and zoonosis of it is established in the world. On the other hand we need and use some kind of imported animals in research places it is logical to inform people who keep and work with definitive and intermediate hosts.

Abstract:

Myocardial necrosis can be result from a number of causes including nutritional deficiencies, chemical and plant toxins, ischemia and metabolic disorder. The outcome of myocardial necrosis varies depending on the extent of the damage (Donald 2001, Jubb 1993, Radostits 1994, Vanvaleet 1986). Myocardial infarction without demonstrable of atherosclerosis were reported in a rhesus macaque (Gonder 1982) and in a Kenya Baboon (Groover 1963).

Abstract:

This paper presents Augmented Monkey Optimization Algorithm (AMOA) applied to solve optimal reactive power problem. Communal behaviour of Monkeys has been utilized to model the algorithm. Normally, group Monkeys assess the distance from the source to food for foraging behaviour. Local leader renews its most excellent location inside the group, when the food source is not rationalized then the group will start probing in different directions for the food sources. Two most important control parameters are Global Leader Limit (GLlimit) and Local Leader Limit (LLlimit) which give appropriate way to global and local leaders correspondingly. Levy flight has been intermingled in the algorithm to enhance the search ability. Proposed AMOA accelerates the exploitation ability that has been tested in standard IEEE 14, 30, 57, 118, 300 bus test systems. The simulation results show the projected algorithm reduced the real power loss comprehensively.

Abstract:

A viral disease that is mostly limited to African area is Monkeypox (MPX). However, it has re-emergence recently in a number of places outside of nations where disease is prevalent. Humans may acquire the virus by coming into contact with infected individual, contaminated materials or diseased animals. Fever, headache, and enlarged lymph nodes are among the symptoms, which are followed by the development of excruciating skin sores. Typically, Monkeypox is a self-limiting illness that goes away on its own without medical intervention. It can, however, occasionally be dangerous, especially for those with compromised immune systems. An interprofessional team comprising physicians, nurses, virologists, dentists, veterinarians, and public health specialists that can quickly detect MPX infection in people and animals, put preventative measures in place, and start public health reporting builds a strong defense against a catastrophic outbreak. An improved patient outcome will be facilitated by the interprofessional paradigm. Infection management in dentistry may face new difficulties as a result of the Monkeypox virus''s re-emerging global outbreak. Given the recent spread of MPXV in non-endemic areas where dentists are not accustomed to include this illness in the differential diagnosis, it is currently expected of all dental healthcare providers to be knowledgeable about the oral signs of MPX in order to perform an adequate oral screening and implement the necessary preventive measures for infection control in the dental practice. As the dental setup is more prone for aerosol cross infection strict infection control measures have to be followed in dental practice. In this article we have focussed the dental implications of MPX disease.Keywords: Monkeypox; Dental Practice; Infection control; Public Health Emergency; Non endemic outbreak;

Abstract:

Objective: Identification proteins involved in stem cell differentiation.Materials and Methods: We applied a 2-DE based proteomic approach coupled with mass spectrometry to identify genes controlling Monkey ESCs proliferation and differentiation. We analyzed proteome of ESCs during proliferation and different stages of spontaneous differentiation (day 3, 6, 12, and 30) by embryoid body formation.Results: Out of about 663 (15 protein spots reproducible detected on gels, 127 proteins showed significant changes during differentiation. Mass spectrometry analysis of differentially expressed proteins resulted in identification of 95 proteins involved in cell cycle progression and proliferation, cell growth, transcription and chromatin remodeling, translation, metabolism, energy production and Ras signaling. In addition, we created protein interaction maps and distinctly different topology was observed in the protein interaction maps of the Monkey ESC proteome clusters compared with maps created using randomly generated sets of proteins.Conclusion: Taken together, the results presented here revealed novel key proteins and pathways that are active during ESC differentiation.
