Abstract:

The present study is an overview of REACT strategy in cotextual approach education. In this research، five steps of contextual approach in education have been examined. The first step is to connect learning with the context of students 'daily lives or learners' prior knowledge. The second step is to experience the concepts of learning which gives students the opportunity to learn through doing activities and exploring. The third step is application، that is، the use of concepts in real life. The fourth step is collaboration، which encourages students to participate in small groups and share learning material. The fifth step is to encourage students to transfer what they have learned to unfamiliar and new situations and contexts، to solve problems beyond what they have learned. In this particle we try to provide explanations and facilitate the preparation of an educational plan for students and professors of Farhangian University and teachers based on thematic approach. The thematic approach is based on a conceptual framework related to the transfer of students' skills and motivation. Professionals who use this method have seen positive results and the evidence shows that using this method has the potential to increase success

Abstract:

Introduction: Sensory experiences could be impacted the emotional state. Perception is the process that the brain selects and interprets sensations. Each perception has two physical and emotional parts. The physical part is memorized in the hippocampus and emotional part is saved in the amygdala. New perceptual experience is mixed with rehearsal memory that saved previously. Several related perceptions in different times and spaces make a concept. The collection of concepts makes beliefs. The decision making is based on their beliefs which lead to selective attention. It can be changed during the time. The amount of reward or punishment of behaviors determines the value of beliefs. If the result of action is followed by reward, the positive mood is reinforced and the emotional circuit is activated. But the cognitive system is employed if the action is followed by a punishment or conflict. The cognitive centers inhibit the emotion in a reciprocal function. Conclusion: This study reviewed data on the regions and models of emotion-cognition interaction. It was concluded that metastable model of emotional system may be a factor to produce different emotional state according to a same sensation experimentation.

Abstract:

Surgery stress is somehow an epidemic problem that patients are faced with it and often causes some problems for the patients and therapists. One of the stress index complications of surgery is potassium shifting from out of the cell to inside of it. In this semi - exprimental research I tried to survey the effect of surgery on blood potassium and to check its possible mechanism. Stress shifts potassium into the cell and decrease its level by motivting .Beta adrenergic receptors especially β 2 In this survey 50 patients ready for eye operation with the age of 20-80 were selected and from all of them blood samples for measuring the blood potassium was done. The first sample 3 days before the surgery and the night before the operation half of them were taken oral Inderal of single dosage. And enact before induction a blood sample was ready from the results for potassium level. As the results showed, in control group 42% of the patients had hypokalaemia that the average of these changes were 0137 mEq/lit , and inpremed group 48% of thepatients showed hypokalaemia and the everage changes of potassium was 0105 mEq/lit. Hypokalaemia was less in premed group than control group possibly caused by Beta inderal blocking effect.(β 1,β 2) Hypokalaemia prevlence with (k1=<3/5) in the samples k1 was 2 out of 50 (4%) while it was in potassium sample of k2 4 out of 5O.No hypokalaemia was seen in potassium sample of k2 of premed group.

Abstract:

There are several irregular antibodies associated with various blood group systems which may cause some problems during blood cross matching in transfusion. The atypical antibodies are included auto and alloantibodies such as anti-I, anti-HI, anti-P... . In order to detect these antibodies, generally the agglutination REACTion technique and anti-human-globulin (coombs) tests would be performed and a panel of identified red blood cells will use if necessary for further investigation.During our work, we encountered with one serum sample that showed agglutination REACTion with all the blood groups (A, B, O, and AB).We tested pooled red blood cells with OI group of adult and pooled cord red blood cells of Oi group with the patient serum. It was shown that the serum was REACTive with 01 but not with Oi. For confirmation of the result, the sample was sent to Institute of Immunohematology (I.I.H.), India. The report approved that the serum contained anti-I specificity. To solve the transfusion problem for this patient, the recommendation is using the blood group with minimum coombs titration if the patient life is in threatened. Further investigations disclosed that the patient had leukemia.

Abstract:

CD34 is a type I membrane protein with a molecular mass of approximately 110 kDa. This antigen is associated with human hematopoietic progenitor cells and is a differentiation stage-specific leukocyte antigen. In this study we have generated and characterized monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) directed against a CD34 marker. Mice were immunized with two keyhole lympet hemocyanin (KLH) -conjugated CD34 peptides. Fused cells were grown in hypoxanthine, aminopterine and thymidine (HAT) selective medium and cloned by the limiting dilution (L.D) method. Several monoclones were isolated by three rounds of limited dilutions. From these, we chose stable clones that presented sustained antibody production for subsequent characterization. Antibodies were tested for their REACTivity and specificity to recognize the CD34 peptides and further screened by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and Western blotting analyses. One of the mAbs (3D5) was strongly REACTive against the CD34 peptide and with native CD34 from human umbilical cord blood cells (UCB) in ELISA and Western blotting analyses. The results have shown that this antibody is highly specific and functional in biomedical applications such as ELISA and Western blot assays. This monoclonal antibodies (mAb) can be a useful tool for isolation and purification of human hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs).
