Abstract:

Thin wall shell structure has low weight and high resistance. The load capacity, buckling behavior and post buckling behavior of steel tanks thin wall, is very sensitive to geometric imperfections. Due to the small wall thickness of the shell structures enabling the creation of any deformation and there is a disturbance on the surface of the wall. Considering the types of errors occurred when build or assembled these structures, are not built these structure, ideally. This imperfections may be in the process of rolling, removable panels, installation or welding arise. Incomplete reports about the negative impact of the effect of welding on the axial bearing capacity.Comprehensive research on the effects of imperfection of initial geometrical shape on the steel tank vibration modes, and its effect on the bearing capacity steel storage tanks that considerable research It's not done. In this research, the actual behavior of cylindrical shells with initial geometric imperfections on mode shapes steel tanks in the pre-buckling and post-buckling. And the effect of initial geometric imperfections on steel tanks SLASHING been paid. Using finite element software, ABAQUS, and verification of the results of the analysis and nonlinear analysis with experimental results. Been paid. Imperfect geometric shape has changed mods. The effect of these changes on SLASHING are very small.

Abstract:

Introduction: Self-infliction by SLASHING the head with blades, albeit now treated as taboo by many religious authorities and their followers, is historical heritage for Shiite Muslims in Ashoura ceremony and is therefore still practiced sporadically. This study aims at describing various types of scalp laceration and their treatment for physicians unfamiliar with the management of this rare multiple injury.Materials And Methods: We descriptively compiled data on 103 consecutive Iranian adult pilgrims to Karbala, Iraq who were referred to an Iranian emergency field unit over a two-hour period. Evaluation was conducted in terms of age, place of birth, wound depth and length, severity of bleeding and treatment modalities. Results: The mean age of the injured was 33.49 (± 1.03). A large proportion of them spoke the Azari language (62.2%), but the rest were from Isfahan, Qum, Tehran, and Arabic speaking parts of Iran. Sagittal (64 %) and transverse (36 %) lacerations were the main types of injury. Of the 103 patients, 16.5 % had mild bleeding; 63% had moderate bleeding; and severe bleeding was observed in 16.5 %. 5.8 % needed serum therapy. The mean sagittal and transverse laceration lengths were 62.97 and 74.24 cm, respectively. Only 15 patients had their cuts sutured; 84.9 % of the cases did not consent to being sutured; as a result, the bleeding was staunched after the application of physiological saline and compressive dressing. There was a significant correlation between the number of lacerations and the wound depths (p< 0.047), as well as between the wound depths and the types of laceration (sagittal or transverse) (p< 0.03). In addition, there was a significant relationship between the wound depths and severity of bleeding (p<0.0001) and between the types of laceration and severity of bleeding (p<0.0001). The severity of bleeding and the depth of wound in transverse lacerations were higher.Discussion: When there is a mass reference of those suffering from the aforementioned head lacerations, triage principles must be adhered to. Consequently, those bearing a greater number of deep transverse cuts must be given the priority as they seem to be more prone to profuse bleeding. Suturing followed by prophylactic antibiotics aimed at preventing tetanus is highly recommended. On follow-ups, the possibility of such diseases as hepatitis should be taken into account.

Abstract:

Liquid sloshing is a common phenomenon in the transporting of liquid tanks. A safe liquid transporting needs to control the entered fluctuating forces to the tank walls, before leading these forces to large forces and momentums. Using predesigned baffles is a simple method for solving this problem. Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics is a Lagrangian method that has been widely used to model such phenomena. In the present study, a three-dimensional incompressible SPH model has been developed for simulating the liquid sloshing phenomenon. This model has been improved using the kernel gradient correction tensors, particle shifting algorithms, turbulence model, and free surface particle detectors. The results of the three-dimensional numerical model are compared with an experimental model, showing a very good accuracy of the three-dimensional numerical method used. This study aims to investigate vertical baffle effects on the control and damping of liquid sloshing. The results of the present investigation show that in this particular case, by using baffles, it is possible to reduce more than 50% of the maximum value of pressure fluctuations in the SLASHING phenomenon.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of trichlorfon on brain acetylcholinesterase, serum catalase enzymes, and gill and liver tissues of golden fish in the presence of vitamin C. The fish (10±0.5 g) were exposed to water-soluble trichlorfon for one month in four treatments as 1 control (no poison and vitamin), 2 (0.4 mg/l trichlorfon), 3 (0.4 mg/l trichlorfon and 200 mg/kg food vitamin C) and 4 (200 mg/kg food vitamin C), with 3 replicates. The results showed that trichlorfon significantly decreased the acetylcholinesterase activity compared to the control treatment, but the administration of vitamin C with this poison significantly (P˂0.05) increased the activity of this enzyme compared to the treatment without vitamin C. Trichlorfon did not significantly change the catalase activity compared to the control (P˃0.05). Trichlorofon caused necrosis, edema, shortness, SLASHING, and hyperplasia of secondary lamellas in the gills tissue of fish. This poison also caused bleeding, necrosis, and swelling of hepatocytes in the liver tissue, but because of the antioxidant properties of vitamin C, the administration of this vitamin reduced the severity of this tissue damage. According to the results, vitamin C with antioxidant properties improved enzymatic conditions and reduced the severity of gill and liver tissue damage caused by trichlorfon.

Abstract:

Maintaining the health of oil and other fluid storage tanks after an earthquake is one of the most important points for any earthquake-prone country. By examining the dynamic response of storage tanks in past earthquakes, it can be seen that steel storage tanks are more vulnerable than concrete tanks. Therefore, it is more important to investigate the seismic behavior of steel tanks. In this study, tank and the fluid inside it and interaction between fluid and structure in the ABAQUS software is simulated, to investigate the buckling behavior of an unanchored broad cylindrical steel storage tank built in Malayer. some near field earthquakes records are applied to storage tank. and all three components of these records, have been considered. the radial displacement of wall of the tank after the earthquake indicate the diamond-shaped buckling mode due to the significant effects of SLASHING. It should also be mentioned that the most deformations are observed at a height of 10.5 meters from the ground level on the wall of the tank, which due to the lower thickness of the sheet in the upper courses of the wall it can be strengthened in order to prevent the leaking of fluid inside the tank.
