The present study aims to investigate the cultural shared between Afghanistan and Iran. The method chosen for this study is a descriptive-analytical one with emphasis on the historical approach and the information required were collected by the documentary and library method. Therefore, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Iran have very deep cultural commonalities in language, religion, history, celebrations, music, architecture, customs, etc. In fact, this represents deep historical roots and widespread cultural shares that throughout the history, given the interventions, aggressions, and provocations of the time colonialism in these two countries’ affairs, the people of these two lands succeeded to maintain a peaceful and good neighborly relationship with each other. These commonalities could affect the other Afghanistan relations with Iran, and the both countries maintain their strong relationship so that the enemies not to interfere in political, social, cultural and economic relations.
