One of the characteristics of humans is to try to change their situation. In a general definition, the collection of these efforts and achievements, to go beyond the basic state of life and change the situation, in the desired direction (which is sometimes achieved and sometimes not achieved) is called "technology",From mechanical things (like windmills), to completely human things (like language) as well as new and very complex things (like computers). This view of technology inevitably brings rules and ethics, and everyone finds different rules for it based on the meaning and value they get from its different parts. Therefore, on the one hand, intellectual groups consider trying to return to a certain period of history or even instinctive humans as their hope, and on the other hand, there are groups that consider their ideal to be the creation of artificial intelligence stronger than humans. Currently, the existing research is trying to study different approaches in this field by using the descriptive-analytical method according to the opinions of four prominent contemporary thinkers in this field (Heidegger, Ihdi, Vries and Pitt). This research seeks to finally be able to provide a suitable definition for technology, especially today's technologies, by examining the existing theoretical challenges.
