Sense of security is among the life quality variables in the cities. Social harm is the most important consequence of lack of security. Urban areas should be so prepared as to provide people of all ages, social statuses, and genders with a safe, secure, and stable environment.The present study aims at measuring the sense of social security development in the citizens of small and border cities. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data to be analyzed by SPSS.The findings of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between sense of security and indices like social capital, media performance, the role of police, people's social status, and special features of cities.
