Abstract: 

Archaism is one of the many principles of defamiliarization in Russian formalistic theory. The application of archaistic language or the poet's escape from common language and the application of old language structure that has no standard language today is called archaism. This research attempts to describe and analyze the archaism in Hamid Mosadegh poetry. It is a matter of concern that the poet sometimes tends to deliberately or unconsciously use archaistic words and phrases apt to his poetic struclure. He has this point in his mind that using archaistic words and phrases is one of the important methods of endowing to the poetic language. This uncommon method causes highlights and prevents the habits in native language. This article will analyze archaism of Nima's poetry reflected in Mosadegh's poems by going through the text semantically and syntactically.

Abstract: 

Sanaei and Nizami have particular literary approaches and criticisms of poetry. These approaches and criticisms have a large implication from the point of view of speech and poem, poet and reader. Nizami has been influenced by Sanaei especially in Makhzan-al-Asrar, and his thought is the same as Sanaei. Nizami has reviewed his thoughts after Makhzan –al-Asrar, but his approach remains unchanged in speech and poetry.Attention has been paid to the pivotal communications in both poets’ works which are still utilized in contemporary poetry. Thus, the present article attempts to select and analyze their approaches to the message (speech and poem), the speaker (poet) and the reader (hearer), because the main branch of their thoughts center on such things. Both of tem have pointed out specific traits for these three aspects which come closed to each other. To support my argument, I illustrate some charts to show their comparisons.

Abstract: 

Persian language and literature showed its manifestation in India in Sultan-Mahmood’s Period and gained a widespread popularity in that area. The immigrants’ travelling to India caused a further cultural interaction. Such relations got expanded in all respects in 10th century (A.H) during Safavid dynasty in Iran and Teymori dynasty in India. Some Persian poets migrated to India for a variety of reasons such as the lack of proper attention to poets by the Safavid kings and enormous encouragement by their Indian counterparts. We can observe a remarkable instance of such a migration in the 11th century. Furthermore, Persian Language was invariably regarded as the formal, political and diplomatic language until 1857 when the Teymori dynasty came to an end.Qotbshahi and Adelshahi were ruling in Golkandeh (918-1098 A.H.)`Bijapoor (895-1097 A.H) and Dakan respectively. Due to their similar ideological viewpoints to the Safavid Kings, a greater number of poets migrated to India. We can cite more than 70 poets comprising about 10 percent of poets’ migration to India.

Abstract: 

Figures of speech and imagery are indispendable parts of poetry. The essence of poetry will be lost if poetry is devoid of them. For the same reason, poem is called an "imaginative speech". As a good means available to poets for createing literary works, Ferdowsi has nicely made use of imagery in Shahnameh. Owing to the heroic nature of his masterpiece, Ferdowsi has employed words referring to war instruments artistically in different parts of his book. Ferdowsi masterly uses imagery and the names of old weapons Furthermore, the rise and the fall of the sun is overshadowed by the way he talks about war and its weapons as he describes dawn and dusk heroically. His heroic and lyrical imagery load to the creation imaginative weapons in, the word "Nahang" (Whale) instead of "Shamshir" (Sword) "Azhdeha" (dragon) instead of "Neizeh" (Spear), which not only cause to stop repeating the same words, but also increase the beauty of his speech. In this article, attempt has been made to study these imaginative words which have been introduced as "War Lexicon".

Abstract: 

Mahmoud Dowlat Abadi belongs to the third generations of Iranian novelist who undeniably occupies a great place in contemporary novel writing, especially in regional literature. This aspect of his writing needs to be looked at seriously. Thus, the present article tries to study the narrative techniques of his novels from the stylistic point of view. As it is proved in the article, he has succeeded in mixing different old and local folkloric narrations with specific syntactic structures and extended sensical similies that are employed in his stories contexts which have made him a distinguished novelist of present time.

Abstract: 

Basically, emotion is a power that releases man from all shackles of carnality and promotes him to gain the dignity he deserves. This is what has made all pioneers, orators and artists eternal. The more the emotion, the longer and heavier the effect and eternality of their speech. Due to the application of musical words, poets were the most capable person to flame up such emotion. The outstanding poets make the words pleasant and the phrase eloquent to have maximum effect on their readers. Thus, their power does not depend on their specific language they use whether old or new, rather it is due to their creation of fervent flame in their readers.This article attempts to study the effect of old Persian poets such as Hafiz and Saadi and compare them to Abolqasem-al-Shabi, the arbic poet, despite the gap of time and place among them, all the three poets tended to apply one language i.e to awaken emotion.

Abstract: 

Universalization of human beings in all periods of history has been witnessed of changes. Scientific and philosophical theories, external and internal realities, political events and so on, have provided the context for such changes and differences. Internal realities in tribal society during illiteracy period have provided the context for the acceptance of anatgonizing idea with such society. The outcome of this opposition has been internal escape and strangeness, negation of social tradition and custom, social differences and segregation in the opposition, nostalgia and dependence on ideals of humanity, in other words, hope for existing realities in illetrated society. The poetry of Saalik in this period manifests the picture of such thoughts and ideas. This article aims at some of the most important approaches of this period.
