Abstract: 

مشهورترین روایت پایان کار ضحاکدر سنت حماسی، اساطیری ایران به بند کشیده شدن او در بن غاری در دماوند است که در شاهنامه و بسیاری دیگر از منابع آمده. مطابق متون پهلوی ضحاکتا روز رستاخیز در آنجا زندانی است و در آن هنگام بند می گسلد و پس از زیانکاری کشته می شود. درباره علت کشته نشدن و زنده زندانی گشتن ضحاکتوضیحاتی در سنت زرتشتی و روایات عامیانه آمده است و پژوهشگران نیز فرضیات مختلفی در این باره مطرح کرده اند. نظریه دیگر این است که با توجه به شواهد داستانی یکبن مایه هند و اروپایی و سامی، ضحاکبرای تحمل رنج و عذاب این جهانی و سپس انجام دادن خویشکاری رستاخیزی زنده می ماند.غیر از فریدون و نیز سام یا گرشاسپ به عنوان بند کنندگان و کشندگان ضحاک، در شماری از روایات رسمی و عامیانه، نریمان، کاوه و حضرت سلیمان(ع) هم از جمله دستگیر کنندگان این شهریار پتیاره فش معرفی شده اند. در غالب روایات، محل زندان ضحاکغار یا چاهی در دماوند است و بر پایه اشاره بعضی منابع فریدون او را با زهی از پوست خود وی می بندد. این کار که نمونه های دیگری نیز در داستانهای ایرانی و غیر ایرانی دارد احتمالا از آن روی است که موجوداتی چون ضحاکرا با هر بندی غیر از پوست یا یکی از اجزا، اندامها و متعلقات آنها یا نزدیکانشان ببندند، می توانند آن بند را بگسلند. با این حال فریدون به گزارش برخی مآخذ برای جلوگیری از گریز ضحاکاز زندان نگهبانانی بر او می گمارد. از جمله: نگاره یا پیکره خویش، آهنگران سندان کوب، گروهی از پریان، طلسمی به هیات دو مرد و دسته ای از محافظان با سالاری ویژه.تفصیل مطالب مذکور و برخی دیگر از نکات و جزییات روایات پایان کار ضحاکدر سه بخش: الف) زنده ماندن یا کشته شدن ضحاک ب) به بند کشنده و کشنده ضحاک ج) بند و بندجای ضحاک. بررسی شده است.

Abstract: 

The imprisonment of Zahhak by Fereydun is the most famous narrative of Zahhak's fate in the Iranian epic tradition. Based on the texts left from old time, Zahhak will be imprisoned till Resurrection (day) then he will be killed. About his imprisonment some opinions have been offered according to Zoroastrian tradition. Regarding the research done in the field, some believe that Zahhak lives to suffer the torture of this world and to perform a devilish function in Resurrection. This eternal torture and resurrectional role is an Indo-European motif.In this paper, issues like place of Zahhak's prison, chain of Zahhak, guards of Zahhak's prison and those who imprison Zahhak would be discussed.

Abstract: 

Epic and Tragedy in their various forms have been considered as the oldest literary figures in different cultures in the world of literature. However, the accounts given to them had not changed so much from the time of Aristotle. In this article, an attempt has been made to analyze epic and tragedy and describe their features in a new way. To do so, Kalidar's novel by Mahmoud Dowlat Abadi is selected as a tragic and epic work to be compared with older tragedies and epics. By comparing the features of old tragedies and epics with Kalidar, not only would their differences be appeared but also the old and new views would be compared. In this manner common features of epic and tragedy would be written, and used to compare every tragedy or epic regardless of their time and location. For completing this discussion, the views of some critics like Aristotle, George Lukacs, Henry Miller and Ande Bonnard are used.

Abstract: 

Undertaking a relative approach and avoiding any kind of absolutism or dualistic attitude, Simin Daneshvar regards the militarism either from the embodiment of respecting law and fighting against crime, or the inexorable executors of decrees and policies of Pahlavi regime, due to their unqualified interdependencies on bureaucracy. However; these policies and commands often stand in opposition to their moral values, assessments and sentiments. Her approach to the presence of the militarism, in her short stories, as the major instruments of governmental power, differs from that of those writers who present them as an impressive stratum in social and political upheavals. From this perspective, Daneshwar sometimes elevates the soldiers to the state of incorruptibility, regarding their actions and operations. As Daneshwar prescribes, the non-humanitarian bureaucracy occasionally contradicts to the soldiers' sentimental and humanitarian discernments.However, she adheres to the competence among the military that they have the capability to undertake a non-bureaucratic counteraction, whenever they encounter the benefits and expedients of metaclass canonical authority.

Abstract: 

Radif, that exclusively has been used in Persian poetry and invented by Iranian poets has had an attractive effect on poems and the poets regarded it as an indication of their power in writing poems.The trace of Radif has been seen since the second century of Hijra and even since the earlier history of Iran.This eloquent element is remarkably important, and statistically is the most frequent artistic element in poetry.Out of Sanaei 407 odes, 50.5 percent have radif. Sanaei after Adib Saber has used the most radifs in his odes and mostly his radifs constitute several prosodic foots. Therefore, they have multiplied the musical characteristics of his verses. Furthermore, most of his radifs have more than one word and he sometimes uses a pseudo-sentence and even a sentence. Sanaei more than any other Persian poet likes diversity, fancy and uses different ways in radif. In this article, the researcher tries to give some examples indicating the wide variety of the ways that Sanaei has offered radif.

Abstract: 

Mowlana has told tale in Ghazel (ode). Some tales are about his mystic seeings. In this case, these tales are mysterious and, they have been used in Symbolic forms. Awareness of the common Structure of these tales is a way of analyzing the Mowlana's thought. In this type of tales, the main step is suddenly taken by the entrance of one of the main characters (lover or beloved) at the beginning of the tale. Then they meet each other repeatedly. Having met each other, the characters make efforts for four actions. The actions includes: a) vine drinking, b) dream a surprising and unexpected scene, c) talking, d) seeking for solutions and finding a way to remedy it. These actions result in their own consequences by which the tale comes to an end. Indeed this structure reveals the Mowlana's hope and eagerness to meet Shams, who is the symbol of divine nature and Mowlana, in turn, feels attached to the source of light or divine destination.

Abstract: 

Totemism as a kind of believing in souls, was accounted for by primitive man as a way to communicate with super nature. This kind of belief has had a wide reflection in epic works and it can be studied in a way to shed light on better recognition of the Old Iranian mythology.Among these, the story of the missing of Bahram's scourge in Shahnameh is a remarkable and significant story. Accordingly, the researcher believes that scourge, which was used as a fighting tool in wars and a punishing tools in courts, has had a special holiness for old Iranian people.In this article, the researcher tries to study the missing of the Bahram's scourge from the view point of totemism and shows that the scourge was as a part of Bahram's belief and he risked to support his beliefs.

Abstract: 

Not so long after Khayyam's death did different anecdotes and legends raise about his life and personality. For example; in the books as "Tatameye sewanolhekmah", Tarikholhokama, Mersadolebad and etc, one can find part of these different and sometimes controversial opinions. These controversies can be seen in 14th century (A.H.) research about Khayyam. In this article an effort is made to study all the approaches to Khayyam focusing on main characteristics: his thought and personality. Generally one can represent five approaches the first three of which are more related to Khayyam's thoughts and the last two approaches are closely related to his personality. These approaches are introduced by 1- Sadeq Hedayat 2- Forooqi and Gani 3- Abbasali Keyvan Qazvini 4- Seddiqi Nakhjavani 5- F.de Blovoi, a French scholar.

Abstract: 

The spirit of a nation is reflected in its folklore, which provides a perfect field for study. Kurdish folklore forms a major part of Iranian popular literature, including stories and poetry. Such folklore is developed within a nation and mirrors the feeling and lifestyle of the people in old era. If such works are not compiled and recorded, they will be soon removed from memories of the people. The present article is an endeavor to show the recognition of such necessity.This article tries to deal with the history of poetry in Kurdish and Persian literature, spoken love songs or poems, the structure of love stories, the style of love songs, the difference between Beits (love songs) and anecdotes, love in love songs, classification of Beits, reciters of Beits and lyric poems, plus a few love Beits.
