Abstract: 

Objective: This research aims to present the design of the applied model in the field of personalization Thechnology of the Digital Library of Astan-e Quds-e Razavi based on the Basket Analysis pattern (association rules) and the FP-Growth algorithm regarding data mining, obtained through the implementation of Frequent itemset of users in the RapidMiner software Creating such a desirable recommendation system can provide suggestions to improve the retrieval of related information resources interesting to users in order to provide useful services and increase their request from this website. Methodology: This research is an applied research carried out using the association rules and FP-Growth wizardry which is a superior type of the issues raised in the data mining tool. The research community has 960 users of the Digital Library of Astan-e Quds-e Razavi in two-years among which based on the Frequent pattern, 170 Frequent requests were extracted from all the final data sets of document delivery service module in digital library. Other tools for accessing the Basket Analysis pattern are the utilization of RapidMiner software through which with implementation rules of data and Launchs association rules operators and the FP-Growth algorithm, and more importantly, a change in the minimum degree of support and confidence, lead to The production of new association rules, which can be interpreted by these rules, offering a suggestion for the design of an appropriate model for the recommendation system in the digital library website. Findings: The results showed that the best access to generated rules by setting the minimum support of 0. 02 and a minimum confidence of 0. 095 resulted in the creation of 1081 new rules, indicating if the user website searches for topics in “ Osole Fiqh” such as (osole Amalieh, Ijtihad and Quran), because of the frequent searching records of the previous users whith the same subject matter, that the recommender system paves the way for suggesting& gaining access to “ Risalah Amaliyah” with recorded number (2309) along with his main search, the manuscript “ Zavabetol Osul” with recorded number (38696) finds amoung his/her searches. Therefore, all of the following subset of “ Uṣ ū l al-fiqh” can be predicted through the analysis of association rules and provide recommendations to the users of the digital library system to search for effective and relevant subjectes relative to the users requests in similar topics & titley. Conclusion: Since the generation of personalization technology and its implementation on the website of digital libraries in the form of recommendation system is based on the establishment of interaction between users and the modern services of digital libraries in form of user interface effective, this technology brings about increasing specialized knowledge, lack of users wondering improving the quality of service and user satisfaction, and ultimately creating value added for libraries. Therefore, with such an approach, dealing with modern services in the form of customer-service delivery, is of the most importance in digital libraries.

Abstract: 

Objective: The present study seeks to draw a pattern of analytic recognition with a less well-known critique of the work of Mahamed-e-Heydariyeh based on the textual criticism approach and qualitative analysis method. Based on this model, the text in question has been examined in terms of linguistic description, resource critique, methodological correction, content analysis, and in terms of linguistic-literary style of the author's prose at three lexical, syntactic, and rhetorical levels. Methodology: In this paper, layer-by-layer textual analysis is used to provide an analytical recognition of Mohammad Heydariyeh's textual criticism based on the recognition of work in two levels: "in-text" and "in-text". In this research, the textual role, the method of correction and the analytic cognition of the text will be examined by looking at the interaction of each section with the other. Next, Mohammad Heydariyeh, as a work that has not yet been edited and published, from the point of view of linguistic texts, resource criticism, correction method, content analysis, author-prose linguistic-literary analysis, in triple lexical, syntactic, and rhetorical levels. Findings: Linguistic scholars today no longer regard language as a collection of disordered sounds and signs; rather, they believe that language is a regular network of interconnected levels that outside of each language level is an outlet for another. From this point of view, in the correction operation, the existence of a light map of the text replaces the correct arguments for the variant's superiority to the variant approach to the "mother version" style and gives the textual critique a theoretical framework. From the perspective of proofreading, looking at the comparative critique of surviving versions and replacing consciousness with reasoning and explaining the priority of recording and editing with the original method is the best correction strategy. Conclusion: Mahamed-e-Heydariyeh's book is a valuable work of prose, written by Mohammad Sadiq Khan Akhtar with a magnificent pen and dedicated to the king of Awadeh city Ghazi-al-Din Haidar. The surviving works of the Persian language authority in India are of great importance and have a great linguistic-stylistic value. In his book, he mentions many of the great scholars of science, culture, literature, and the arts and provides information and information about them. He has also narrated stories of some rare wonders. The existence of this book and other similar texts indicates that the scientific language prevailing in the eastern subcontinent, especially in the Shiite regions of India, was explicit Persian.

Abstract: 

Objective: Knowledge organization is one of the key pillars of Library and Information Science (LIS) studies and is one of the important steps and approaches in the process of knowledge intellectual structure of the knowledge organization in the Web of Science (WoS) from 1975 to 2018 and to cluster emerging concepts and events of this subject area. Methodology: In this paper, researchers applied scientometrics methods. We used a co-occurrence analysis method with an analytical approach. In order to do the research, we utilized hierarchical clustering and multidimensional scaling. The research population consists of all keywords (27124 keywords) of articles in the field of knowledge organization retrieved from the Web of Science (WOS) citation database between 1975 and 2018. SPSS, UCINET, VOS Viewer and NetDraw utilized for preparing and analyzing data and also for visualizing maps. Findings: We selected the most frequent keywords to provide a complete overview of current studies. The data analysis showed that between 1975 and 1999 the keywords “ information technology” , “ information system” and “ internet” and between 2000-2018 the keywords “ information literacy” , “ information retrieval” and “ information” were most frequent. Findings also showed that the keywords “ geographic information system-geographic information system” and “ information literacy-academic library” have the most co-word occurrence. In the first period (1975-1999), 10 clusters including information retrieval, multimedia, Automatic cataloging and indexing, library and education, knowledge management, information system research, strategic planning, information retrieval system, user training, information resource management, and the second period (2000-2018), 17 clusters formed including user training, information literacy training, librarianship, and information research, uncertainly in Health Information Behavior, information behavior, Measurement studies, electronic government, social network, knowledge sharing, knowledge organization, knowledge management, digital divide, information retrieval, classification, and indexing, Computer Cataloging, data mining, and Social Cataloging Conclusion: The results showed that despite the relative overlap between clusters of the two periods, the topics in the second period (2000-2018) because of the increasing number and scope of the keywords were of a higher number. Six clusters are similar in content and keywords in the two periods studied. An overview of the results of cluster analysis between 1975 and 2018 showed that the clusters were similar and overlapped. Although the number of clusters in the second period (2000-2018) were more associated. Six clusters were similar in terms of content and the number of keywords in the two periods. This represents about 60% similarities for the 1975– 1999 time period and 35% for the time period 2000– 2018.

Abstract: 

Objective: This paper aimed to do a comparative evaluation of Ketabak website architecture based on the main components of information architecture. Methodology: Content analysis and evaluation were used. The content analysis approach was adopted to identify the context, content and user, and a checklist-based evaluation tool was used to analyze the status of Ketabak website architecture. Findings: The mission of the site is to 1) promote reading among children and adolescents and 2) help to select the right reading materials. The main users of the website are fathers, mothers, educators, teachers, librarians, and anyone interested in promoting reading. The content of the website is published to fulfill its mission and goals. According to the analysis of checklists, the scores obtained for each of the organization, labeling, navigation and search systems were 25, 32, 51, and 20, respectively. These scores are rated very good, good, very good, and poor. The organization structure was the main weaknesses of the website in the organization system. In the labeling system, the naming of labels and fonts are often ambiguous and confuse the user at first exposure to the website. Other major flaws were in navigation labeling. Half of the navigation labels are in the footer instead of in the navigation bar. The major disadvantage of Ketabak website in navigation system is the lack of a local navigation. Another major weakness of the website is the lack of an alphabetic index in the navigation bar. This website has a lot of information that can be indexed. Other disadvantages of the navigation system are the lack of mega-menu image, the poor design on smartphones, the lack of effective guides in different parts of the site and the lack of automatic customization and personalization capabilities. In addition, the website did not receive a good rating in the search system. The website uses a machine aided indexing system and the user cannot directly enter what is in their mind as a query. It can only enter keywords indexed in the search engine. Lack of capabilities such as ranking algorithms, advanced search capabilities, and storage of search results are other weaknesses of the search system. Conclusion: Based on the results, the alphabetical organization scheme of the website needs to be expanded. The geographical organization scheme needs to change dramatically. The website's main navigation system must be equipped with a local navigation system. A number of disadvantages of different navigation systems need to be addressed. The website search system is weak. One way to strengthen the search system is to use the natural language processing in indexing. Adding an autosuggest to the website's search system is also one of the ways to improve the search system performance.

Abstract: 

Objective: Concerning the importance of the role of libraries in crisis, this study seeks to study the status of public libraries in confronting dust crisis. Methodology: This study is an applied descriptive survey. The statistical population includes all librarians of public libraries of provinces exposed to duct crisis (Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam, and Khuzestan) which includes 378 individuals. Using simple random cluster sampling method and Cochran formula, 190 have been selected as the sample. A researcher-made questionnaire with 46 close-ended questions (5-point Likert scale) has been used for data collection. The theoretical framework of the study is structured through studying research backgrounds, related literature and basic documentary studies. The questionnaire intends to evaluate the status of libraries in three stages: pre-crisis, pre-crisis and post-crisis. Data were analyzed using SPSS 24 software. Findings: The results of single-sample t-test showed that the readiness status of the studied libraries was poor in terms of educational, cultural, informational, and executive dimensions in the face of duct crisis. These libraries are also at a critical status during the crisis (information and administrative). In addition, the findings of the present study showed that the status of public libraries in post-crisis stage is poor in terms of documentation and implementation aspects. Conclusion: Overall, the results of this study showed that public libraries have no planning in dealing with dust phenomenon. Moreover, no provision has been made for librarians in these libraries for the three stages of pre-crisis, pre-crisis and post-crisis. However, libraries as a social and cultural institution can play an important role in this regard. For example, some of the measures that the libraries could take during dust crisis is to train users in dealing with dust crisis phenomenon, consider some plans to provide services during dust crisis, provide essential resources on dust crisis, communicating with institutions related to dust crisis, and provide the required information resources as they might require and documentation of the obtained experiences and presenting them when required. It should be noted that libraries, like all other public institutions, must be able to deal with all kinds of unexpected events and be prepared to deal with such events as far as this type of events require rapid decision-making and urgent action. Therefore, it seems necessary for public library administrators to pay more attention to the importance of the social activities of libraries and define guidelines for libraries in accordance with social, cultural and economic conditions to introduce the new role of libraries as information centers to the society and make libraries popular in the society.

Abstract: 

Objective: Non-users are those who do not go to the library for any reason. Identifying the reasons for not being present and the client's conditions for going to the library has always been a concern for public libraries. This paper seeks to provide insight into the reasons why non-users do not use the library as well as to identify the non-users' conditions to go to the library. Methodology: Results are built on a qualitative user study. Indeed, findings are gained based on Grounded Theory in 3 stages. Data are collected by semi-structured interviews in which 105 non-users form 11 provinces of Iran participated in. Analyzing was started with open encoding. In the next step the open codes are classified and the open codes that had a meaningful relationship are located in the certain categories. Categorizing is continued until recognizing the axis categories. Eventually, the central class was chosen and relationship of categories was described. Findings: Analyzing interviews generated 64 open codes, 26 sub-categories, 12 categories, and 5 core categories. Among the core categories, the inefficient organization class was chosen as the central class. The findings indicate that the content, facilities, environments and services of library are ineffective. Non-users consider the library as an ineffective organization. They do not go to the library due to ineffectiveness. In addition, poor entity and anti-information environment are other reasons that the non-users pointed to. Nevertheless, they will come to the library if the scope of resources and services would expand and improve. They also expect that the standard structure of the environment and equipment to be observed and tangible in the soul of the library. Conclusion: The subject of the study and the use of the qualitative method express the originality and value of this research. Identifying the reasons for not being present of non-users in the library as well as their conditions to go to the library is helpful in policy making and formulating realistic policies. Cases such as lending time, censorship, lending of friends, frustration, indifference, lack of need, financial problems, inability to study in a public place, reduce study efficiency, low literacy, maladministration, inefficiency of the librarian, cultural weakness of individuals, lack of reading culture are part of the concepts that filled the knowledge gaps related to the reasons of not to visit the library by Iranian non-users. Beyond absorbing non-users to the library, share of public libraries from populations won’ t persuade policy makers to support more finances and supplement of them and this will mean a deficit for public library system.
