Introduction: Many health problems are caused by inappropriate behavior and attitudes. On the other hand, social marketing process uses commercial marketing principles and techniques to influence individual’ s behavior. Health sector organizations can, therefore, correct undesirable behaviors and attitudes by effective implementation of social marketing programs, thus prevent the risk of many diseases. This study presents a conceptual model to explain the factors affecting the implementation of an integrated social marketing mix in the field of health. Methods: This study uses a quantitative methodology based on survey technique. For this purpose, 67 experts in the field of health management at Hamedan University Of Medical Sciences were selected using random sampling. Data were collected using a standard questionnaire. Structural equation and Smart Pls software have been used for the model analysis and hypothesis testing. Results: Fitting indexes (including outer model: 0. 998, inner model: 0. 946, absolute index: 0. 797, and relative index: 0. 945) confirmed the conceptual model to predict the tendency of behavior through social marketing mix. It was also found that implementing social marketing mix can influence behavioral tendencies by means of sources associated with the organization and resources related to individuals as the independent variables and emotional value and functional value as the intermediate variables. Conclusion: The integrated implementation of social marketing mix can help people develop voluntary preventive measures. This study identified resources associated with both the organization and the people as factors influencing the individuals’ behavioral tendencies through value creation.

Abstract:

Introduction: Continuous curriculum revision and updates are crucial to achieve the main mission of universities. This study aimed to compare the curriculum for undergraduate medical librarianship with those of other similar majors in Iran. Methods: In this comparative study, a checklist consisting of three curriculums: "Medical Library and Information Sciences", "Knowledge and Information Sciences" and "Library and Information Sciences", was designed for collecting data which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, tables by excel software. Results: The curriculum of Medical Library and Information Sciences had an overlap of 65. 45% with the curriculum of Library and Information Sciences and 56. 36% with that of Knowledge and Information Sciences. The major differences between the curricula, was related to the number of courses covered in Medical Library and Information Sciences, the most significant weakness of which was the absence of courses on information-based technologies, and lots of medical terminology courses. Conclusion: Considering the importance of the field of Medical Library and Information Science, its target population, and its similarity to other majors, it is necessary to make some changes in the curriculum and add some courses such as bibliotherapy, clinical librarianship, evidence-based librarianship, systematic review, Scientometric, health information consulting, medical information services to special groups such as patients and so on.

Introduction: Addiction, which has recently attracted the attention of researchers, is a serious problem worldwide. The growth of relevant literature contributes to a better understanding of this problem and improves the interaction between executive organizations and academic institutions. It is important to identify the active subject areas within this field and to explore the topics which are more frequently discussed in research documents using techniques of subject clustering analysis. The main purpose of this paper is to do a content analysis of papers related to addiction in PubMed through hierarchical clustering. Methods: This is a descriptive and applied research analyzing the content of literature through hierarchical clustering. To obtain data, a search for the keyword “ Addiction” as a Mesh term in PubMed was conducted, on 21/04/2015, for papers published in 1991-2014. Descriptors were extracted from the papers retrieved, and data were analyzed using Ravar Matrix and SPSS 20. Results: According to the findings, the size of scientific literature in the area of addiction increased during the period under the study. Subject clustering led to the identification of most widely used topics, including substance related disorders, addictions to the Internet, gambling, smoking, etc. Conclusion: Through thematic analysis of documents (descriptors), a wide range of dispersed topics were grouped into six clusters. The members of each cluster had common characteristics and they were structurally interrelated. The main concern of researchers, as indicated by descriptors in these six clusters, were on psychological aspects of the issue.
