Land Re-adjustment is the method which has been used in many countries, and in many different ways, specifically for promoting damaged urban fabrics and frameworks. This method is seen as a potential tool for providing solutions to the problems occurring in traditional urban renewal processes.This technique helps to preserve the social and cultural values of local residents by re-adjusting the lots, coordinating with developing urban service equipment and public infrastructures and changing property borders or possessions lines. Moreover, it pursues step by step, citizen participation during the project achievement process. This article has considered the Japanese experience in using this method. As part of this deliberation, usage background in Japan was a consideration. Additionally, researchers analyzed the benefits of using this method for both the people and the government, along with an explanation of critiques related to this method. Research findings showed that these factors are necessary for successful performance of this method in recent circumstances of Iran: (1) Collective organization and a high degree of public participation, (2) Organizing the numerous sessions until a public consensus would be obtained, (3) Phasing of the performance of project process, and (4) Proper capital absorption for project performance to ensure project completion.

The present study aims to introduce and analyze the most important landscape design criteria along inner-city floodways. Obviously, there are various patterns in this field of study which can be classified into three categories of physical, biological, as well as cultural considerations.  Introducing the related patterns, in parallel with paying attention to their adaptation to environmental strategies and local considerations is the main subject of this study. Using such a pattern, it is more possible to protect the buildings, as well as historical monuments in the route of the foodways. In this regard, in one hand, local sense would be improved in inhabitants and in the other hand, the tourisme intereset may be enhanced for visting the studied site. Therefore, creation of minor jobs would be accessible by means of the considered procedure.According to the researches, this research attempts to multi-functional landscape planning which essentially contributes to sustainable urban landscape along inner-city floodways.For this purpose, Analytic-descriptive method based on criteria evaluation has been applied qualitatively. In addition, to represent the present scientific literature, the Alusjerd floodway in Hamedan has been chosen as a case study in the west of Iran to present the most important landscape design criteria.

According to the uncontrolled population growth and urbanity and also the increase of immigrations to cities and the lack of appropriate construction areas, the high rising strategy is being promoted. On the other hand, in this type of building, because of high user density in a limited area and the considerable use of energy resources during construction and exploitation, sustainable attitude have to be pursued not only in design process but also during exploitation.Since achieving the goals of sustainable architecture is impossible without attention to user’s behavior, the psychological terms and behavioral sciences play the key role. In this regard, few of the researches that have already been done are about the psychological and behavioral aspects of sustainability attitude.In This paper, the role of environmental psychology in sustainable high rise building design is recognized and also in order to promotion of this type of behavior through Maslow pyramid model of needs, the ways and strategies are explored. In the next step, with considering of the role of “attitude” in promoting individual and social behaviors, the strategies of “education” and “resources management” have been presented. Finally, environmental psychology as a basis for motivating sustainable behavior by users is introduced.

Considering that each geographical zone has its own particular climate conditions, most building designers assume that by collecting sufficient information about the climate of one geographical zone they can apply the same design criteria in other zones which are climatalogically similar. In this regard, this research aims to carry out an in-depth study on the weather condition similarities and differences of one climate within two different geographical zones.The results revealed that despite the two cities of Bandar-Abbas in Iran and Belem in Brazil have similar climate, the building design norms which essentially provide the needs of inhabitants by taking the climatic conditions into account are totally distinct. Moreover, the weather in Bandar-Abbas is in comfort zone in December, January, and February in days and chilly at nights. However, in March, both days and nights are in comfort zone. In April, days are hot and nights are in comfort zone. In May, June, July, August, September, and October both days and nights are hot. Eventually, in November, days are hot and nights are in comfort zone. Therefore, throughout the studied area, all the structures especially living rooms are designed in north-south direction in order to profit from the sea breezes.

Revitalization and rehabilitation of urban distressed areas emphasis on using great capacities with private sector participation But complexity of the issue reluctant to directly involve and utilize these capacities. In order to persuade the private sector for investing in this area, they should be enabled and supported in three field: Creating effective motivations, trust-making and legal obligation.Brownfield development in form of using capacities and potentials in cities is a complicated, polyhedron, interdisciplinary with physical, urban planning, execution and technical aspects. Large areas of our cities suffer from decay and multiple form of obsolescence. These areas are known as Urban Distressed Areas. Human, financial, economic, social and cultural resources of the country are in danger in these areas due to the casualties and inefficiencies which therefore highly require revitalization, rehabilitation and regeneration. These areas are contain  of distressed neighborhoods  which could be studied in many different aspects. Moreover, great capacities of housing construction could be utilized through upgrading of UDAs.While effective motivation provided, people will join to the regeneration process. On this basis, the regeneration process is managed by "Reconstruction Pyramid" as a model for evaluate this program. This paper tries to describe that model and evaluate its efficiency.

This study has concentrated on the role of folding on urbanism and introduced the "urban carpet" as the introduction of folding urbanism. Folding philosophy is derived from Deleuze theories in rhizome and anti-oedipus based on Leibniz’s mathematics. This theory appeared in architecture by Eisenman and later, in the macro-scale and urban design was introduced by Hadid. Today, she presents her manifesto of  folding genesis as "urban carpet" that already has determined in landscape design by James Wines. Hadid based on "unity in diversity" philosophy with the complexity of folding mathematics tries to design a city with post-modern feminist literature, so that provide the anti-oedipus city with its own harmonies.This study has made an effort to indicate how architects criticize and use the folding stream in urbanism as they call it "urban carpet" and for this purpose spontaneously, we analyzed some famous works which their base concept was about folding movement.The conclusion of the study is that the "urban carpet" can be the introduction and some referent of folding urbanism and although, has been successful in creation of  harmony in the macro-scale and bird view, but in the human-scale architecture and discourse of the event architecture is not successful.

During the recent century we've found tensions in man-nature interaction. According to this problem, many of the researchers rethink and reconsider the Persian Garden and the man-nature relationship in it. Most of the researches include two points of view; the first is Subjective-Objective method and the Second includes Phenomenological research method.In this research, the main goal is to analyze the Perception Process of Persian Garden's Environment, on the basis of the Ecological Psychology Theory.In order to analyze the process we use the third point of view which is explained as deductive and inductive category development method, in this research.This study shows that in Persian Garden's architectural order, the main purpose of designing many elements are just to stimulate our five senses (vision, hear, smell, touch and taste) simultaneously. This time’s notion attractions of all senses, according to environmental psychology researches, make a concentration and meditation environment in Persian garden. “Environmental DETACH in Persian gardens can lead us to spiritual ATTACH”, this approach propose a practical solution for architects; how to re-create garden in contemporary language design. The necessity can be understandable when humanbeing face different serious problems in the environment caused by various disorders in the life setting.

One of the important items in gaining to urban constant development is constant incomes. This matter has an effective and impressionable role in spatial-physical planning of the cities. On the other hand, in adoption of the policies of urban development, considering to the private public benefits is so important.With consideration to necessity in being of urban planning and with the objective of introduction to mutual relationships among the effective indexes, this Article studies on the objective of the article in the frame of theories of local governments, urban spaces, social inequality, spatial separation-selecting and some discussions consisting of financial federalism and axes of operation on containing theory.Concerning to this matter, system for providing the financial resources of the city is fulfilled through establishment of constant incomes and consideration to the local-crucial observing on the base of partnership planning in appearance of directors, architectural and urban specialists, residents, citizens and investors, financial institutions and banks in the frame of local governments (urban united management). This subject is an important fact in direction of improvement of urban discordant development for sectional equilibrium on the base of the considered indexes of spatial-physical planning in the frame of plans of urban development.

For thousands of years cities have been centers for a variety of thoughts, cultures, human beings' social interactions, and places for development of urbanism. Although when human beings came into existence, most of them started living and working in villages, settlements, towns and communities, but in year 2000 and especially in the later decades of the 20th century, two important events were urbanism and global cities appearance. Meanwhile metropolises in south countries with a first world city inside them have an objective and wide entity and are affected by global agents These days, each city in the First World and industrialized countries has a Third World town inside. These Third World-oriented towns face problems such as unemployment, environment, malnutrition, starvation, diseases, children death and child labor. On the contrary, each Third World city has a First-World Town inside which enjoys high-tech communications and facilities. This reveals contradictions, challenges and great gaps which cities are involved.In this research we try to study political, economical, social and cultural effects of globalization on metropolises cities in south countries in different dimensions and through comparative study and use of developed countries' experience to make suitable solutions in developing countries' urban planning and ordering.

The application of sustainability theory, as one of the new approaches, has enjoyed the spotlight among many of urban pioneers and scholars. This research intends to study the possibility of utilizing the sustainability theory in an executive framework and its direct application in urban plans. In this regard, the location allocation viewpoint of Office Parks, as one of significant executive policies in Iranian provincial authorities, is evaluated. The research method is divided in two stages. The first stage is comprised of a descriptive method in identifying the meanings and epistemology of sustainable development as well as office park approaches. Then in second stage the research introduces some indicators in both approaches and evaluates them using a comparative method. Four criteria of economic, environmental, physical, and social considerations are compared in two approaches. Ultimately, the result reveals a satisfactory accordance in almost all of the criteria within the sustainability and office park viewpoints. The highest conformity is in environmental considerations and the least is defined in physical features. Notwithstanding, there are some executive limitations that are highlighted in this research. It is believed that by removing of those barriers the optimum benefit can be achieved in the allocation of office parks.

A shortage (or a lack) in written documents including theoretical foundations of formation of Iranian urban elements and spaces is one of the main problems in the study of Iranian civilization vestiges. Nevertheless, many principles and values, which have played an essential role in the formation of Iranian civilization, are indicated in a wide range of written documents, such as philosophical, mystical and poetical literature. Moreover, travel accounts and historic books have mentioned these principles and values, which are derived from Iranian ideology and culture, and play a fundamental role in the definition of Iranian utopia and the ideal environment and space for a desired life. Therefore, classification and documentation of these principles and values in addition to seeking their historical evidences through a series of deep and fundamental researches can compensate for the shortage of written documents. Additionally, the role of these principles and values in the manifestation of Iranian utopia and commentary of attributes of historic cities can be recognized. This article, as a step, endeavors to introduce the principles and values that should be governed over the Iranian utopia according to Hafiz’s opinions derived from his poems. Hafiz, one of the famous Iranian mystic poets, is inspired from the first Islamic principle: Unity (Towhead).
