The availability of epice before Ferdowsi, on one hand, and a survey of poems from that period, On the other hand, is indications of popularity and publication of old stories at the time of Ferdowsi. It also points to the fact that Ferdowsi's Shahnameh is one of the most important and comprehensive pieces of mythical stories. Yet, it is not the only one since there are many obvious implications to these stories in other masterpieces as well. The lack of evidence are due to some how loosing the track of them. The presence of few evidences is enough to say that they are reflections of the stories before Ferdowsi. Roodaki, the subject of this article, is one good of the case.
